Robert.... try a hard boiled egg in one of your traps. Take the shell off so it's nice and smelly. I know martin go nuts for eggs. Most big fur love eggs. Trap mice and put them in some too. Good natural food baits. :>)
Nice video Robert! Checking traps is fascinating regardless. Always fun to see what the animals did and try to figure out why they didn’t commit to the bait. Exciting just to have them that close to the set.
I pray that you have a blessed New Year Robert; yeah, next time bring with you a gallon zip lock bag for gathering the wolf yellow snow and poop. It will work! where you see tracks make a short snow-go trail parallel to your main trail, with that gathering hide a clean snare on the short trail, put a ribbon or something on you main trail. the wolf will see and sent that ribbon and detour of on you Sade trail. It never miss if you have clean snare. it also work for fox and wolverine. Thank you for you posts.

y ever try hanging cat snares behind or on side of your cat sets for those that like to circle? you could try a trap in front of that coni that the wolverine would not commit to - or a pen / cubby where you have two openings, both set with coni's where the wolverine can see through - not totally covered with brush. sometimes gives critters more confidence to enter what appears to be an open ended tunnel vs a dark hole. Ya have wolf snares ready to go?

Clean gloves - use pair for only wolf sets, no other bated sets.
