Sooooo... just to verify; did this work for your problem? My twin turbo has been hesitating under heavy acceleration as well (for a little while now) and just threw a P0492 insufficient air flow code at me yesterday for the first time. But i will be stoked if this fixes the hesitation problem!
I found out that the breather hose was cracked too (amzn.to/31RDJJt), so I changed that out (and this one to be sure: amzn.to/35a8FXk) and it works great now. Except when it's really hot and the engine has been running for a while. Then it still hesitates under full throttle...
You can try it... it might be cylinder scoring if you are in a cold climate. The S engines had this problem - the Turbos don't because they have extra oil passages inside.
Hi bro....thanks again my porsche cayenne turbo V8 4.8L Already changed pcv part after fix it Around 1 week then check it again & removed air speartor hose still oil coming out what is the reason..what do u think
Hmmmm.... there could be a little in there even when it's fixed, but if there's a lot, then maybe you're getting too much pressure in the system somewhere that is blowing past the diaphragm. Hard to know without tearing it down...
It could be cylinder scoring with the V8. Especially if you are in a cold climate. Or it could have a blown head gasket if it's gotten too hot... Hard to say without more information.
@@전병찬-m5e If the sound is coming from the black cap area, then you can just change the parts. If it is coming from the joint between the assembly and the motor, then maybe change the whole thing.
Every video I watch on Porsche cayenne there is something wrong 'are these vehicles a bundle of crap 'I never see anyone fixing my vehicle the Lexus rx 'so what does that tell you 'it means Porsche can't compete with Lexus ''Lexus is miles in front in cases of realibility and owner satisfaction 'why would anyone buy these junker vehicle s 'you would be spending most of your time fixing the bloody thing 'a just think of the expenditure as well 'not for me thanks I'll just stick to my Lexus rx thanks
It might just be that there is little point putting up a video of how to fix something when there is nothing wrong. Very few people have Lexus rx's because they are Lexus rx's and nobody wants them. Personally I would rather have my thoroughbred 4.5 litre v8 twin turbo 450 bhp Cayenne than any soul less boring Lexus. Each to their own and all that.
painful to watch removal of cap!
It's stronger than I thought... I could have just forced it off.
need to change the title, how to open the cap... This video is very helpful.
lol Yep!
So did this fix your issue?
This ddi fix it a bit, but it still hesitated a bit on real hard acceleration , so changing the spark plugs out fixed it 100%.

Matt Hessen it could be knock sensor. Its common problem to every cayenne
I think I have a similar issue on my 04 cayenne S. There’s a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. Should I give this a try?

Wish it was the same for a 2009... cant find the part!
Dang! I'll see if I can find something...
Should my AOS be making a sound? I can hear suction or air coming out or something.
I think a little noise is fine, but if it starts to whistle, then you probably need to replace it.
Hallo. I have Porsche . Problem with oil. Smoke from behind. Porsche Cayenne Turbo 8v 2008

@@IAmDistracted Thank you for replay
Looks to me like you may have ripped the diaphragm with your screwdriver.
I think I did, but it was cut a bit before... I just opened up the wound with the screwdriver. :)
did separator make noise? like bbbbbbiiiiiiipppppp!!
my cayenee 4.8s seperator make noise at spot where fix in your video.
That sounds like the diaphragm in there is broken and leaking, so yes, I would say this would fix that.

Hi thank you for the video & if not change it what will happen,,, thanks Again
This can fix the hesitation issues that a lot of these Turbos have.
Thank you Again...
is this PCV valve?
Yes, it technically is called the PCV valve... a BIG PCV valve. Usually they are much smaller.
@@IAmDistracted yes in Cayenne it's huge!
@@IAmDistracted hi sir, is the engine oil cooler attached to rediator water pipes also in Porsche Cayenne? or just builtinn oil cooler without water?
No, the engine oil cooler has oil in it, not coolant. You don't want them to mix :)
@@IAmDistracted thanks. i mean how is the oil get cool inside the oil cooler in porsche cayenne?
took half the video to remove the cap LOL
lol Tell me about it! I was paranoid to break it, but it's actually pretty solid.
Hey I used your to fix mine do you have a head gasket vid
Sorry, I don't have a head gasket video ... yet.
should have been a 2.5 minute video. that first 3 minutes was worthless unless you like watching stress
Well to be fair, I did speed it up a bit, so it was faster than if you watched me do it in real time... but ya, some people like watching stress.. :)

We've only got one life, and I ain't driving a Toyota in this one!
You stuck the screwdriver through the diaphragm. That wasn’t an issue before you did the damage. Lol
Yes, I made it worse with the screwdriver... but it was already leaking because the diaphragm was old.
