Loved creating little golden books for my grandchildren xx I actually have 1 in the works now !
This journal is stunning! I am so happy to learn you have gotten such great results with using gold watercolor paint. I’ve been using gold metallic acrylic or rub and buff. Both work very well however, it takes a long time to dry and I’m impatient with waiting for drying time ☺️
I have used my metallic water color paint for swatching and quickly ran out of the gold. I’ll be ordering a tube . Thank you , so very much for sharing your experience with it.
Sheila’s items are breathtaking !
Dying textiles is another labor of love & Sheila is the Very best at this technique! Her trims are stunning as well! I dye my own sari chiffon , lace , doilies and seam binding with rit dyes. I also use tie dye kits for smaller projects.
Easy enough once you get your desired color.
My papers I’ve dyed I’ve used gold leaf flecks with good results but thinking about switching to the paint as the gold leaf is very messy . And falls where I don’t want it often ( clumps) You are a beautiful artist! So well done just stunning!
