New brand to me Kevin thanks for posting another great video 👍👍oh and the great cursive writing! This is very therapeutic to me as are your Cavalcade of food videos 😉
Great video as always. I’ve not tried this particular Staedtler, although I am a huge fan of the Norica. I wonder which came first, the Nataraj 621 or the Staedtler Tradition, and if the paint scheme was intentionally a copy of the one that was first?
Hi Nicholas! It would be interesting to know which pencil was on the market first, because they sure do look alike! The Nataraj is much darker than the Staedtler, but both are good instruments. Thanks!
I am a big fan of the Nataraj 621, and I do love the dark line it makes and their smooth, soft feel. I need to get a box of Traditions and see how the feel in the hand.
Have you written with the Faber castell 9000, the 2b? While meant for drawing, the lead is durable. Its not scratchy, very smooth and has a nice darkness. So far I've only bought one for 2 bucks. And I think it's lasting me longer than my 2b and hb from artist loft.
Hi M T - this pencil is very similar to the Noris. It's just as smooth, but maybe the Noris is slightly darker. I think this Tradition series highlights its "break resistant" core, so maybe that's really the biggest difference. Thanks!
New vídeo!! let me take a glass of Coca Cola and a piece cheese. (queijo de Minas Gerais, tradicional brazilian cheese from the State of Minas Gerais 😀)

Hi Hank - this is perhaps the oldest maker of pencils anywhere. Certainly the oldest German brand. Glad you like the videos - appreciate you watching!

Hi Sergio - I have used a Faber Castell 9000, but not the 2B. I'll pick one up at the art supply store. Thanks!
Lol I drew two graphic novels with these!
You must really like these pencils! Thanks!
How does this compare with the Noris?

@@AlwaysAnalog many thanks. This will help me make an informed decision.

Hi Mario! We have plenty of Coca Cola here but I've never had queijo de Minas Gerais...I'll bet it is delicious! Thanks!
