So many memories! I stayed in Quepos for a few months back in 2010, and I can see it hasn't changed a lot! I used to work in a hotel named The Suu in Manuel Antonio, I'd love to see a little bit of the Inmaculada, where I lived, near the soccer fields... thanks for sharing!
I am so glad I could bring you back to good memories! I'm not sure if I have heard of that hotel, I suppose it isn't around anymore.. Perhaps one day I will do a neighbourhood walk for the small areas around Quepos!

Yes I enjoy the walking tours greatly. Plese stop at shops wherein prices are posted so we can see those clearly for a moment to hit the pause button and do the currency conversion. Holding the camera in the opposite direction will help us see more of the local area - very important. Also I would enjoy more of your visits to water and seeing more of you and your swimsuit.

Además de Gollo y Monge, pude observar La Curacao, Casa Blanca y El Verdugo. Me parece muy buena competencia en el comercio de electrodomésticos, tecnología y muebles. También observé que hay bastante comercio en general, farmacias y servicio de bancos, restaurantes y sucursales de telecomunicaciones, telefonía y seguros. Me faltó ver locales comerciales de cableras de televisión e internet. Excelente vídeo y completo recorrido del centro de la ciudad de Quepos. Inspirador para realizar el mismo algún día de forma presencial, vivo en San José y espero a futuro conocer personalmente más el resto del país, especialmente las zonas turísticas como Quepos y Manuel Antonio. Gracias por el vídeo y la información.

Thank you for the video. We're considering moving to Manuel Antonio, and the video was epic! Would it be possible to make videos about the weather in that area? I've heard horror stories about the wet season, and I would like to hear it from someone in the area, rather what someone in Arenal or Limón have to say about it.

Emma do you know my brother Dave B who owns Quepolandia Magazine, he lives right there. I recognize so much of Quepos from my visits.
I am not totally sure if I know him, I might have to see a photo - but as you may be know, Quepos is a very small town! Glad you were able to recognize the area and enjoy the video - soon ( in a couple days) I will be sharing another video on the entire Manuel Antonio Road/area!

So glad you enjoyed it! Definitely come down and explore for yourself before biting the bullet, you never know, right! To be totally honest I haven't heard of any expats giving tours around Quepos, or anyone for this matter - it is very hot and was not the most pleasant walk to do all in one go! But it is very easy and safe to walk around and check out different spots if you decide to go on your own! Thanks for enjoying!!

Please do a video on liquor stores in Manuel Antonio. I will be there in February 2023 with my friends and family.
Funny enough, specifically in Manuel Antonio, there are not really "liquor stores", as the supermarkets sell alcohol, and that's pretty much it! If you add me on instagram I will try to make some stories of where you can go! My Insta: @emmafeir

Hi Emma! Is it safe to eat raw the fruits and vegetables from that store you showed? How about from those food trucks?
My general opinion is that fruits and veg are totally safe, I have never gotten ill from them, the water here is what I consider to be more clean than that of the US. HOWEVER of course you should wash them, and another thing to consider is how sensitive your stomach and gut bacteria may be. Everyone is different and may react differently from changing water sources through out travel, for this very reason, it is a very wise idea to get your hands on a locally produced yogurt or probiotic food to prepare your gut with the good bacterias that are made with the same water (etc)! It can be any yogurt from a store, as long as it says made in Costa Rica

I remember on the main street there was a Hotel Kamuck that had a good restaurant and also in Quepos I went to another great restaurant called the Cuba Libra owned by an Cuba Expat .Can you still enter Manuel Antonio Park from the beach just outside the park ? Keep up these great videos and thanks again your friend Lindsay in Montreal.
Thank you for watching!! Thats crazy! The Cuba Libre sin then has had a location in Manuel Antonio and now it is in the Marina Pez Vela! Unfortunately they have shut off the beach access to the park, I remember those days!

Hey you’re very welcome! Quepos is the town right at the base of Manuel Antonio- its about 10 minutes driving from Quepos downtown to Tulemar (you have to go through Quepos to get to Manuel Antonio). Feel free to reach out on Instagram or Facebook if you want advice on activities etc!

Is learning Spanish a really good idea? Or do most places understand English?
I definitely recommend learning Spanish! In restaurants and hotels the staff generally speak at least some English, but the majority of the people in general only speak Spanish.
