I made a routine that turns on battery protection when battery charges to 90%. Lithium batteries don't like 100 or 0% as they reduce the battery life much faster. Also, 80% is less compared to my daily usage. So, I made my own routine. Samsung is so flexible! I'll never use other companies' phones ever!

@@MizanurRahman-jo6ci Turn off battery protection bro for regular times. You can activate it only when battery reaches 90%. Google it or see some videos on modes and routines on UA-cam. You'll understand better.
Legends use modes & routine...to customizable maximum charge😜

Currently I am using maximum . I am a light to moderate user I do get a full 24 hrs usage. I will charge once a day in the morning and charge again next day. Thank you for this video. Always wanted to get someone views on this .

I think we should charge by maximum option 80% and if need charge it again ..i feel less heat at 80% and will get better battery life.
My another question is ..i m using realme watch S which caused me frustrated just because of link issue it used u unlinked again and again. I watch ur video on galaxy fit 3 watch which i like the most. Pls suggest me whether i go for fit 3 or not as a samsung galaxy s23 ultra user subjected to battery backup of watch.
I have an S23 Ultra and used to have the charging stop at, I think it was, 85% on 6.0 however when trying the Maximum setting on 6.1 I find the battery drains much faster even allowing for the 5% difference in charging. I used to get two days use comfortably with it and up to 3 days at weekends. Now it struggles to reach two days despite being a light user. I have now changed to Adaptive and I am getting around 3 days out of it. My friend has an S24 Ultra and is a much higher user of the phone than I am but he found that the battery drains much faster on the Maximum setting even allowing for the extra charge he now gets on Adaptive.
It makes one think that the 80% charge is not really saving the battery as you have to charge it more often as a result of using it.
Probably the change is due to the phone getting older and battery is changing its behaviour🤔 May be , Not really sure, Thanks for sharing though

On Max setting, I use bypass charging most of the time, so the battery always stays around 65% for almost a week without decreasing or increasing by 1% 😅
Great video, I use Adaptive since I only charge my S24Ultra at night. When I wake up its always at 100%.

The device is powerful, but I don't understand why Samsung doesn't want to let us use all its features. I mean, not allowing us to use that setting in QHD, restricting battery usage in certain settings, etc.

Mamimum 85% But Previous protect battery 85% was nice. Because it's different from other & when the charge is 85% then it was showing like full charge.
If I choose basic charging it's, keeping battery healthy ?
On my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra I use maximum battery protection and I get 1.5 - 2 days on moderate and heavy usages
you should have also covered that to enable adaptive protection user has to enable customization service and what all data customization service collects. Just because of customisation service I dont use adaptive protection

During the night, I put the battery protection to basic because I like to start my day with 100% but during the day I put it on maximum mode so it stops at 80%
If we use basic then it can reduce battery life or not because it will charge the battery 100% pls reply

I was charging the maximum up to 80 percent, but now I know that I can choose the basic plan because I use social media and games a lot.
I am using Galaxy MaxHz for custom % battery protection
You said 3rd option will stop charging at 80% at night and Switch to basic in the morning. There is no such information given for that setting

For the past few days I'm noticing my S23 is not charging at the specified rate. It charges at 25W but considering the time, now it feels like it is charging at 15W. Is this because of the summer? I generally set the battery protection at Maximum.

Basic does not work. Goes to 100% and never drops if you leave it plugged in. it is a known bug
Any tips on how to reduce the idle battery consumption? My s23 Ultra sucks after the 6.1 update and I did reset it. Its still the same
I modified Sleep mode to turn off location, wifi, and data. So the phone doesn't consume battery during my sleep.
During normal standby, you can enable adaptive power saving. This I had not done myself.
Like h.a. Said turn WiFi data off when not using. Also, Swipe close any apps you’re not using. You can use power saving button also but think it turns off audio notifications 👋

The basic battery protection mode does NOT work.
How does it know when I'm going to wake up?? I don't have a regular schedule.
It will consider the time you stop moving your phone

Go with 20 - 80 rule. This will keep your battery in a good condition for long period.
I prefer to use a Bixby if/then routine that keeps my battery from charging past 85%. It works flawlessly and I have used it on prior models. The battery saver built into the S24 never worked after 2 months of failing to learn my habits. It would end up charging my phone to 100% and keeping it there for 8 hours until I woke up and disconnect it. So for 2 months I stressed out my poor battery.

I find it unusual that the maximum option is now limited to 80%. I prefer that option, but it used to give you 85% on the 6.0 version....now I feel I need a little more!! 🤔
Create a routine.use IF and THEN to set the max percentage.

I am facing slow charging issue inspite of using original charger and enabling super fast charging mode,
My S24U charges upto 70% slowly and then it takes almost 2-3 hours more to charge fully to 100%
Total time taken to charge fully is 4hr..
Charging speed is too slowly
Can anyone suggest meh what can do to fix this

The protection does not work on the s22. The basic does not work. Gets to 100% and never goes down when plugged in. Never goes even to even 99%. Supposed to go to 95% then back up. Nope. Does not work. Only the maximum 80% works

some may have long working hours and may want their phone to be fully charged when the wake up, depends on the requirements and the OEMs provide all options
