Hello, friends! If you enjoyed the video and wanted to support my channel, I've just started a "Buy me a Coffee" (in my case it would be tea) page which I'll link here: buymeacoffee.com/shawnaexplores but please don't feel any pressure to, the fact you're here and watching already means so much to me ❤
Outstanding! Wow! Dalkeith is absolutely beautiful! I loved it! Such quaint & charming buildings. Along with such a beautiful Country Park with truly lovely scenery, as well as, the very sweet deer sightings. The Easa Skin & Health Spa there is also wonderful & it all looked very peaceful. The facial you received there was amazing! Your skin looked even more soft & smooth than ever! Then, afterward, you looked even lovelier than always, if that is even possible. Your skin looked like one of those 'Cover Girl' Commercials, which are 'touched up' & with the ladies wearing face makeup. Except you didn't! Incredible! You know, Shawna, they advertise these facials & you think that they won't make much of a difference, but your facial at Easa proved this to be completely wrong! They really do make a difference! After seeing this I really want to have one now myself! All in all, Dalkeith is just wonderful in every way! Thank you for sharing this delightful experience! Blessings to you!🦌🌻🌞
Thanks so much for joining me on my walk virtually, Annie! And that’s so kind of you, my skin definitely felt so refreshed after the facial (might turn into a semi regular thing now that I’ve had a taste of it..) have a wonderful rest of your week 🥰
@@ShawnaExplores My pleasure as always! Well, your skin truly looked refreshed that's for sure! I can easily see why you would want to have one on a semi regular basis. I do too now! There are just some things that are totally worth the pennies! Sourdough bread & facials are just two of them. LOL. I mean, after those, what more could we ask for? LOL. Have a lovely day Shawna! Blessings!🚶♀🍁🍂🌞
Looked like a nice relaxing day. Liking the hairdo although the extra length might have kept your neck warmer in winter, good excuse to buy yourself a nice scarf :)
Haha funnily enough, one of the reasons I decided to cut my hair is that it gets all tangled up in scarves etc in winter 🙊 and don’t tempt me, I unpacked my winter clothes recently and was shocked at how many scarves I have 😅
Thanks for virtually joining me! It’s definitely a great place to visit if you want a bit of peace and quiet as, depending on the time of year you visit Edinburgh, it can be a bit crowded 😊
What a wonderful vlog! Looks like you had a lovely day, and although I can't think of anything less calming than a facial, you seemed so relaxed afterwards!! Also, the caption "I have bits of face mask in my hair" made me laugh out loud. 😂
Friends residing in Edinburgh booked accommodation in Dalkeith for a weekend and had a wonderful local get-away. Like you they took the bus. No need to travel half way cross the country for a holiday experience when there are numerous to be had within Edinburgh and its environs.
Oh that sounds amazing! I can imagine a staycation there and going for lovely long walks and visiting local cafes etc would be wonderful. I agree, there’s so much to see in Scotland 🏴
Ah - the irresistible lure of the charity shops 😊 Another beautiful walk (if you haven't already done it) is to take the bus to South Queensferry and walk the trail(s) through Dalmeny Estate, ending at Cramond Brig. We used to go there for family outings when I was a wee lad and take the ferry (rowboat) across the River Almond at Cramond. Fond memories.
Thanks so much for virtually joining my walk, Fred! It’s funny you should mention that route as I’d actually filmed it a few years ago (didn’t make it all the way to Cramond Brig) but never posted it and was thinking I really should return and walk the route again so thanks for the reminder!! 😊 hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!
Loved the bench at 3:00 min mark . There is a song on it and I could feel myself singing it inwardly. Every Scot's child would have sang that at some point 😂
Wow Shawna, that was the most delightful vlog! 😍 Your facial was sublime for you; well your vlog was sublime for me (us). Dalkeith was so picturesque 😍 And your Psalm at the end was beautiful and perfect 🥰 Virtual hugs 🤗
Dalkeith looks really lush and beautiful 🍂 your channel is so inspiring, I want to explore the towns around me too! Since I'm new to it, I'm wondering how much do you plan out? Do you have a time schedule in mind or just take things as they come?
That’s so kind of you to say, thank you 🥹 I’m excited that you’re planning to explore more of your local area! I used to do pretty much no planning (other than how was I going to get there) then exploring when I reached there but recently I’ve been doing a bit of research on cafes and main attractions just so I don’t miss out on anything 😊 time wise, I don’t really have a schedule unless public transport isn’t regular and I need to keep an eye on the time.
It’s such a lovely spot for a walk, especially in spring and autumn! Buy Me a Coffee is a way for anyone who enjoys my content to send a donation of £3 or more to support my channel 😊 (It’s set up in a way so anyone can send a creator coffee/tea money but we can use it for bus fare etc for future videos).

For the return trip, from the centre of Dalkeith,South St., at 15:27 there is a bus to St. Andrews Square every 15 minutes or so.
Aww thanks so much for the info so kind of you! 😊
@@ShawnaExplores It helps when you live there!
