I've always said there's a fun game underneath the old hideous graphics. This really changes things. They even put in some balance changes that help improve the game.
New stages are very possible. Several can be unlocked in this mod. I used one in all the scenes of this video. I was watching one of Max's streams and he basically said that adding new characters would break online play and involve breaking security code Capcom put in the game. So, the short answer from his team was no. They don't want to anger Capcom and/or Disney by circumventing that. Though, that doesn't mean other people won't try. UMVC3 is a perfect example.
Max made it sound like it could be possible, but his team is staying away from it so they don't piss off Capcom/Disney. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but probably not anything in the near future. UMVC3 mods may be the home for custom characters for now.
Presentation-wise it was extremely bland - it kind of looked like a mobile game and the Marvel cast had their music changed up completely, rather than bringing back any of the older themes from the other Marvel fighting games. And because of rights issues at the time, the roster was limited primarily to characters who had already appeared or were scheduled to appear in Disney's MCU - so no X-Men, no Dr. Doom or Super Skrull, no Deadpool, etc. The latter isn't really anything Max's team can do anything about but they did redo the game's presentation to make it feel more like an MvC game. Not just that, but the addition of Capcom losing a lot of goodwill with people over SFxT and SF5, and early footage of a really off-looking Chun-Li from the game's story mode, really set the tone as being pretty negative, even if the gameplay was fine.
The graphics were the main problem to me. It's a fun game, but I think that turned a lot of people off. Going back to 2v2 seemed like a step back, but I think they made it interesting. UMVC3 is still my favorite, but this one is definitely not bad. I didn't really get into it until a few years ago when I went back to make a video on the game. I messed around and realized it's a fun game underneath an ugly exterior.
Pretty interesting for a remake of marvel versus Capcom infinite.... Known as marvel versus Capcom infinite and beyond!

Hey Jay, Merry Christmas to you and the Goose and Gosling ❤❤❤🎄🎁⭐️
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you too
Will There Be New Characters, New Stages and More in the Next Updates?

I like Ultron and Sigma as duo
Brilliant combo
@DoctorBadvibes especially with their 2nd wave outfits
And in crimson colours
@@DoctorBadvibes like Phantom Infinite and Neo Metal Sonic from Sonic forces Overclocked
Will it ever be possible for them to mod in new characters?

Que bueno que salio marvel vs capcom y beyond 👍🏻
¡Es increíble!
Oye hablas en mi idioma
@JOSIASDIEZMARINABOBADILLA Google translate lol ... Pero sí tomé español en la secundaria.
@DoctorBadvibes que bueno 👍🏻
What was so bad about infinite?
No 3 vs 3 and No Xmen. I consider Base Mvc3 a Better game because it has 3v3 and X men!

Lackluster mechanics and bad graphics and no x-men
@@hurricane77272v2 was great in mvci
When fans can make this game better than how capcom made it. You know they messed up. I hope the next street fighter there working doesn’t suck.
Street fighter 6? It came out already and it was great. What the fuck you're talking about?
Just redesign? No extra characters, boring 👎
It's a sick redesign that's still in 1.0, but if it's not your cup of tea, that's fair
