I love all members of Emkay and have been watching the channel for a long time. There's one thing I wanted to let you guys know though because it has come up several times in the videos and it has sucked to see. Every few weeks there's a post in the videos for r/MildlyInfuriating or r/facepalm about wheelchairs with peddles or that otherwise use a person's legs. And there's always commentary essentially saying "did you think this one through?" and mocking the product. Many people don't know that 8 out of 10 wheelchair users are ambulatory, meaning they can stand and walk on their own or with assistance for at least a short distance. Very few people realize this and many believe anyone who can walk even a few feet but uses a wheelchair (for many different reasons) is faking. And even though the comments on Emkay are in jest, it can really hurt wheelchair users when the joke is literally that we don't exist (but definitely do). As someone who has weak arms and power-assisted wheels on my manual chair, I would love to be able to peddle to propel. I have leg movement and am ambulatory, but standing and walking long distances aren't possible for me. The majority of people in wheelchairs aren't paralyzed and yet our existence is routinely denied. Comments like this happen often for wheelchair users in public too and it becomes a problem because for instance, when I walk the short distance from my driver's seat to the back of my car to unload my wheelchair, I have been cursed at, harassed, and told many horrible things. Ambulatory wheelchair users get stared at or mean glares for getting up out of their wheelchair, for instance to grab something off a high shelf in the store. Jokes are made that "you're cured!" and other things. I share this not to make anyone feel bad, but jokes like this contribute to and maintain the discrimination against wheelchair users, the belief that the only reason to use a wheelchair is paralysis, and the judgement towards ambulatory wheelchair users. In a depressingly high number of cases people in wheelchairs have literally been assaulted for "faking" because they stood up. The issue is awareness and I just hope that in the future people will realize just how many reasons there are to need a mobility device besides paralysis (which is a very real reason). Cardiac and respiratory conditions, chronic and debilitating pain while walking from Arthritis or other disease, joint instability, autonomic disorders, the list goes on. I know this might seem over the top considering this video is largely memes/jokes and this is a reddit channel, but the thing that hurts is that our existence - or rather the denial or ignorance to our existence - is treated as the butt of a joke. I've seen it enough times on this channel now that as a fan I wanted to reach out, the only thing that can change this is awareness.
This reminds me of when my family went to Winter Wonderland. My sister was more tired than usual and didn't want to stand up or walk around too much, so she used a wheelchair. Dad gave me the idea of saying "It's a Christmas miracle!" when Eleanor gets up to go on a ride. That would've been hilarious. But Mum and Eleanor told me not to, so I didn't.
13:17 I grew up in a family of ranchers, in a culture where families traditionally reared cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, and anything else they could find. You best bet I learned the art of butchering according to my traditions. If anything, that video might give me tips for various new cuts.
Wow. I have to praise the tattoo at 13:53 in all honesty. If you are able to read it out, it practically laughs at itself, saying "Why would you get an illegible tattoo????"
If someone put their feet on my armrests on an airplane, I’d just do that annoying thing where you pull their socks so they’re like half off, and then they’d realize when the plane landed that their socks are on wrong.
My personal r/mildlyinfuriating: Getting pulled over every single time I'm in front of a cop only to have them admit they simply felt like pulling me over because I drive a manual sports car and its registered to my dad who has a "suspended liscense"..... he never gets pulled over, even when he's speeding, but noooooo I'm in a sports car so I must be doing big bad things....
i kinda love 13:43 because it basically says "why would you get an illegible tatoo?" and i find that a very clever shitpost to put on your body. real commitment to the bit
Fun fact: at 6:20 the problem isn't an error with the system, it's a misplaced subtraction sign on the third set of parenthesis which makes what's supposed to be negative 6 over negative 5 (as the sign is meant to be outside of the fraction), into negative 6 over positive 5 which makes it slightly different from the supposed correct answer Hope I didn't goof on that
It always makes me realise how short I am when people say that their pants get caught on doorknobs. When I wear t-shirts my sleeves get caught on doorknobs.
3:51 in my high school we have a locker fee and bus fee. Let me explain. We aren’t even allowed to touch lockers this year. The bus fee is 2$ a ride, Canadian. Over a year is about 400$, and this charge wasn’t previously there. They chose to implement it in 2020. It is mandatory I go to this specific high school instead of a closer one. They made up for this fact in previous years with free buses. I hate my school
one thing i've noticed is that whenever ordering anything on wish, the cheaper the product is, the mosre expensive the delivery fee is. you could order a item for 0.086 cents, and the shipping fees would be in the double digits. For example I orders a 300 pack of small plastic bags for around $1, and the shipping was around $25-$30 (plus tax of COURSE)

13:17 I grew up in a family of ranchers, in a culture where families traditionally reared cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, and anything else they could find. You best bet I learned the art of butchering according to my traditions. If anything, that video might give me tips for various new cuts.
Day one of asking Robin to say: I I'm Robin and I'm bobbin...... Apple

Wow. I have to praise the tattoo at 13:53 in all honesty. If you are able to read it out, it practically laughs at itself, saying "Why would you get an illegible tattoo????"
The joke at 13:52 is that the tattoo says "why would you get an illegible tattoo?" And it's tricking hilarious
BUT I'm WEaRimG a mASK
PERFECT markiplier accent.
13:43 This isn't mildly infuriating, I love this.
It says "Why would you get an illegible tattoo"

@Madison WEAVER I love that song ❤️🥺
@Madison WEAVER 😎 same to u 😎
If someone put their feet on my armrests on an airplane, I’d just do that annoying thing where you pull their socks so they’re like half off, and then they’d realize when the plane landed that their socks are on wrong.
13:43 This isn’t mildly infuriating, because if you manage to read what the tattoo says, it says “Why would you get an illegible tattoo?” XD
2 views 7 likes seems perfectly balanced as all things should be
Yes.
Yes.
This said there was 1 reply when I clicked, there were 2. 🤦♂️

6:53 that’s like an anti-virus being the virus. I shit, wait a minute
13:44, it says "why Would you get an illegible tatto????", I think.
2:20 why does that sound like an actual password
6:21 His answer was actually wrong
I putted the same thing and it's actually correct, what makes it count incorrect is the missing comma
i kinda love 13:43 because it basically says "why would you get an illegible tatoo?" and i find that a very clever shitpost to put on your body. real commitment to the bit
Nothing has ever struck so much fear into my heart than Robin saying "You arrogant little prick" like that
“Grab it, shove it.”
-Robin from Emkay, 2020.
Fun fact: at 6:20 the problem isn't an error with the system, it's a misplaced subtraction sign on the third set of parenthesis which makes what's supposed to be negative 6 over negative 5 (as the sign is meant to be outside of the fraction), into negative 6 over positive 5 which makes it slightly different from the supposed correct answer
Hope I didn't goof on that
people go into a Walmart near by and steal under wear then they sell the package at the same price
Robbin is the only person that's asked me if I'm okay in a year and a half
You good bro?-
It always makes me realise how short I am when people say that their pants get caught on doorknobs.
When I wear t-shirts my sleeves get caught on doorknobs.
You started to sound like Tomas Sanders in his vines for a second...
Part of my sleepwalking is that I'll unplug my phone. The number of times that I've woken up to a dead phone...🙃

Ok

"Why would you get an illegible tattoo?"
I actually love it. I would get that tattoo.
13:53 reading that spells out "why would you get and illegible tattoo" takes me BEYOND mildly infuriated
When i do a whole 30min IQ test and after finishing it says "check your results for only $5"

The best thing about the package: It says "Careful, glas!" As a former DHL worker: These labels are carefully ignored.
13:43 when you actually read the tattoos says, “why would you get an illegible tattoo?” That is actually pretty creative!
