Had them send a plane out 30 minutes early at a layover stop that more than half a cabin full of passengers obviously missed. Not only had they not told anyone the gate moved, but the representative of american airlines let an entire group of people stand around like idiots then gave us all attitude as if it were our faults the plane left early. It gets better. Each and every one of us waited in line for hours to be reimbursed and given a hotel voucher only to be told that we didnt qualify! Sometimes dishes legitimately DO need to be soaked though. Yeah. That's a regular criticism of the current education system. Doesn't allow for creative thought for the exact same answers. Despite having so many options (which may actually be better), you have to follow the stupidly specific way the curriculum does it. There's a reason why younger children are generally more creative than adults, they don't have the extremely rigid subconscious thought that's engrained into us. When I think about it. I'm sure I've been marked down for reversing numbers. The same exact answer though. I'm not anti-education by any stretch (I finished university after all). But the system does need drastic changes. 8:06 Same thing happened to me today. I found a sink and counter full of dishes and the dishwasher was done so I did both. And then I cleaned the majority of the kitchen and scrubbed out the sink. I leave for around 20 minutes only to find that there is dirty dishes and water all over the counter (the water is from my mother putting the soaking wet sponge on the counter without wringing it out at all). There was also food and dirty dishes on the stove because my dad cooked dinner and didn’t clean up after himself. What makes it even more infuriating is that both my parents preach about cleaning up after ourselves and being clean when they don’t do that themselves a lot of the time.
8:00 imagine having a roommate that just leaves her gross pan on the stove and uses it three times a day without washing it, gets stuff all over the stove surface, and when she DOES “do the dishes” they’re still not clean and I have to check my dish carefully before use to make sure it’s ACTUALLY safe to eat off of. 6:53 Was a worker in a restaurant. One guy had his order screwed up. All I did was take his order (which was all correct) and he talked to my manager. I knew he wasn't too happy so I just told my coworker "everything is fine, out manager is handling this" Turn to the guy and apologize for hearing about this. And he was nice about it saying it wasn't my fault. Went from an angry tone to being better about it.

12:38 About the five guys in France thing. They have to do that because we have a law against unlimited or free refills for soda that passed a couple of years ago. You won't get refills anywhere in France unless you pay for it.
@@noobmaster5411 The main reason was to limit obesity. Money has pretty much nothing to with that. Soda and most other non-alcoholic drinks are inexpensive for restaurants. That's why free refills are a quite common practice around the world. What free refills do however is entice you to stay and drink a bunch of sugar cause "might as well make the most of it". This also gives a terrible habit to the youth and is an important factor on why junk food and obesity are so prevalent in the US since there is nothing to prevent such practice. We all know that too much sugar is bad for your health, that sodas have way too much sugar and that sodas and kids are not a good blend. If anything, that law impacted negatively the restaurants that used to offer free refills as they lost a part of their appeal. I'm pretty glad that our governement is involved in our well being and regulates such things. And let's be real, we still get way too much soda with our meals anyway, in fast-foods at least.
1:31 lol I remember those word problems in math class that were like: “Jimmy put 72 full sized watermelons into the back of his red Honda Civic-“ “Wait…Why is Jimmy buying so many watermelons?”
The person should sue that dentist for HIPAA violation. 14:37 I would bring the second one up to the teacher, flip the paper on it's side and say "hah! Now you're wrong! "... And then stop daydreaming and realize that school ended an hour ago.
13:25 I think it's somewhat well known that Amazon will or at least used to fire you if you didn't hit certain quotas, this obviously doesn't save time but what it does do is ensure the employee can package two things rather than just one and slightly less running around, meaning they'll stay on top of their quotas easier by cheating the system and that is how you get this, I'm assuming the large box was just the smallest thing next to them, otherwise they would have to waste time looking around for a smaller box and yeah I'd probably do the same thing if I had to work at an Amazon warehouse.
9:29 Okay, I think it's trying to teach transitions like the one from 29 to 30. Between 20 and 29, you gather 10 ones, and you "cash them in" to gain a 10. Thus the 9 goes back down to 0, and the 2_ becomes 3_. So 29 becomes 30. Does that make sense? It's kinda difficult to put into words. However, I definitely don't feel like this work sheet did a good job of explaining it. I assume it makes more sense, if you've already been taught the intended approach in class, but it still seems needlessly confusing.
i think ist more like. if you need 500 and you have 368, how many hundreds, tens and ones do you need. Answer = 1 hundred, 3 tens and 2 ones if it makes any sense :D
@@jonaslarsen4620 So a complicated form of subtraction? If that was it, what's the point of all the other numbers from the table? And the whole bit about changing units? I think it's about learning to count with multiple digits.
@@ahlpym you can say its a complicated for of subtraction, or just fint out how many hundres, tens and ones there is between the two numbers. For the units, i just think insted of saying the number, like fx 132, so its 1 hundres 3 tens, and 2 ones, now you have changed the units, or split it up, but i woulden follow what the description says, we both know the guys there made it, dont know what they are talking about, just look at the porblems, and analyse what you have to do
Oh. That makes a lot more sense. I assumed it was gonna be like “once you’ve gotten the ones places to match up (370 ~ 500), switch to counting by 10s”, but the worksheet obviously didn’t accommodate that lol.
Yeah, I was fairly certain the counting was meant to be done with base ten blocks. You pick out ten 1 pieces and switch them out for a 10 piece when applicable, and then switch ten 10-pieces for a 100-piece when you've got ten of those. I used to use them in elementary/mid school.
~8:35 there are times when it's a good idea to leave something to soak, but simply getting it to soak, start with the other stuff you have to wash, and by the time you finish with those, it had enough time to soak.

@@nombreapellidos1959 there might be a lot of reasons for that. (Money being a big factor )

9:25 They're basically asking when you move a zero in a stupid way.
who is the danganronpa fans that edits these, they know that hajime bought that monokuma sticker too. a true fan. i salute.
Answer = 1 hundred, 3 tens and 2 ones
if it makes any sense :D

So a complicated form of subtraction?
