7-Eleven Apple Pay Suica Recharge

7-Eleven ATM Suica cash charge servcie started October 15, 2018. Here is a quick look. The weak points are that have to use Touch ID/Face ID and put Suica in the manual ready state like an Apple Pay credit card. The reader stand on the right of the touchscreen is designed for plastic cards with the NFC antenna at the bottom. This means you have to put iPhone on the stand upside down for Apple Pay Suica to work. The service is OK but Smart Charge kiosks at JR Stations are Express Card savvy and much faster.

Unfortunately no, cash recharge only, it would be great if they add bank card recharge. I think many people would use it.

@@JoelBassett Sure, as it is weird to make e-money to cash than again e-money :) and for tourists, getting cash is always related with fees.

@@vebaev if you add the card to apple wallet you can add charge using any credit card already linked to your apple account

Take it off and put Apple Watch on the stand, it will charge
