@@dissonanceparadiddle Even before she went vegetarian, Lisa was always the wisest, most compassionate and smartest person on the show. Quitting meat was only logical for her. The only thing that didn't make sense is that she settled for being vegetarian, when going vegan is the only ethical option for those who can do it. Hmm...maybe Apu was the wisest!
1:40 I want to notice that in several episodes Lisa is shown eating non-meat things such as mashed potatoes or spaghetti along with meat products on the same plate such as meatballs or steak or drumsticks, but she’s not shown eating the meat, but rather eating the non-meat food. The meat may be on her plate, but that doesn’t mean she has to eat it. On the other hand, Lisa also ate meat (specifically, chicken) in a Church’s Chicken ad from 1996. “Lisa the (Supposed) Vegetarian” came out in _1995._
Well, Marge doesn't like to change her cooking habits. There was an episode where Homer was away from home for a long time for some reason, and she still cooked the same amount of food as if he was there. Bart asks if she couldn't just make less food, and she says "I don't do things that way. You'll just have to learn to eat your father's share". (Edit: just noticed that the scene I'm talking about is shown at 1:54) So it would make sense that she would still serve Lisa the usual plate regardless if she eats everything on it.
What is the show is still on the air after Paul McCartney dies? Then what? And what if he gives up vegetarianism before that point? Would they still be beholden to the agreement from when he appeared on the show? That episode has Apu in it, so that’s also going to ricochet back in its direction like the bullet off his chest in the James Woods episode.
Lisa's always been a "humanitarian" - but did you really think about what that meant??! And that wasn't really a cake! - Perhaps it was like a creamed hobo pie, getting creative in preparing cuisine. But how will they celebrate Arbor Day now??...
As a vegetarian myself I can tell you, it's not easy to become vegetarian, if people cook for you, especially your family. Most non-vegetarian people don't know, how to cook without meat. So we often go for the less "harmfull" choice in our eyes. Like when Lisa had the spaghetti with meatballs and sauce on her plate, we would eat the sauce and spaghetti, or you could starve yourself... Alot of household don't let their children to cook for themselves and not everyone is so well off to afford throwing out food.
Fox/Disney/Whoever would argue that any of those things she was shown eating were not made of real meat, but were vegetarian substitutes like Beyond Meat™ or tofu or whatever.
I agree. Paul McCartney will see you in court, Groening! I think Matt Groening lied to Paul and Linda McCartney just so he can get them on his show. Paul said he would lend his voice on the show if they would keep Lisa a vegetarian for the entire series, not just one episode.
I find it quite hypocritical how Lisa was (temporarily) okay with eating arthropods (such as insects and arachnids) despite the fact that they are still animals. The worst part about this is that episode also has Lisa making an insect farm for the sole purpose of killing and eating them (which goes beyond just eating dead insects and arachnids). If Lisa only became a vegetarian just because she didn’t want to eat animals, why would she be perfectly fine with not only eating insects, but even directly farming and killing them?
Lunchlady Doris showed her how to work the system. Lisa: I promised Paul McCartney that I would never eat animals... Doris: So what, I promised Paul that I would never sleep with John.

As a Vegan, I love meat too, but left the addiction because I love animals more. Also, I also eat false- meatballs and peperoni because you can buy Vegan/vegeterian versions of them.
I will also point out she hasn't totally divorced herself from many other things ultra strict vegetarians/vegans often do. She still seem okay wearing leather (her day to day shoes are plastic, but I assume the ones she wears with her sunday church clothes aren't, ditto a lot of the other pairs she has worn from time to time throughout the show. She still will eat conventional sugar (many vegetarians won't as it might be refined with bone charcoal.) It's no so different from the fact that, while she is a committed Buddhist now, she still consumes onions, garlic and other things really observant Buddhists won't.
@@soursimpsons It's called "The Doctrine of the Five Angry Vegetables.". Many Buddhists will also not eat mangoes, due to some incident where a village fought over the supply. Orthodox Buddhist cooking is sort of complicated. One tenet is that any food should be considered no better than any other food (usually as "The is no difference between a watery soup and a creamy soup.) Since Early Buddhist view on refraining from harming other living things extended to disturbing the soil, for a while they prohibited farming or using anything that would require farming. A lot of these laws have loosened up quite a bit (especially in places where Buddhism became the dominant religion, as strict observance basically would set communities up for inevitable starvation.), but, at times, they got a bit tricky.
sugestion: investigate Selmas lack of smell. she mentions it in the episode where she marries Selma and she can't smell the gas. im sure i see scenes where the twin sistrs complain about smell
This is kind of irrelevant, but some vegans believe that eating mussels, clams, and oysters is acceptable; even though they are animals, their nervous systems are too primitive to facilitate anything like conscious thought, so they can't feel pain in any meaningful way.
Some "vegetarians" might (similarly with insects, remember that episode with Lunchlady Doris?), but "vegans" wouldn't eat anything that comes from or exploits animals.
@@matthewwelch4305 But if the argument against eating meat is that it causes pain and suffering, then an animal that is too simple to feel pain should slip through. After all, how is eating such an animal any morally different than eating a plant of fungus that is also too simple to feel pain in any meaningful way?
@@micahbush5397 Vegans also don't "exploit" or consume animals in any way. A vegetarian may eat honey, but vegans don't because that's keeping and exploiting bees. So eating (or wearing) any actual animal tissue would be right out for them. Wiser vegans point out that there's no way to completely avoid killing animals - eating only vegetable products when countless small animals are always killed when growing and harvesting crops, or even just when walking around. So their goal should be better stated as not "eliminating" all killing and exploitation of animals, but minimizing it by not taking actions that directly harm animals.
I can’t thank you enough 😂 ! I knew something was up with her being vegetarian 🥗 wasn’t right. Twelve episodes later she’s eating spaghetti and meatballs, then she’s eating a drumstick in another episode, and I lost it when you said just look at fat juicy steak 🥩. 😂 and yes , nobody can resist pepperoni pizza 🍕 😁 ! People love to hate on Lisa because of what she’s like in the later seasons, but she was so good in the earlier ones and it sucks that people forget that. The show needed a voice of reason that called out how ignorant the rest were, how people don’t listen to the informed and do what they want to do and believe what they want to believe, which is an important part of the satirization of society at the time. The show made strong points about environmentalism, veganism, feminism, faith and religion through her. She was a strong and consistent character that didn’t care about what others thought of her, she only cared about speaking her truth. This is a bit long, it’s just that I care because I looked up to Lisa so much as a kid and I believe much of my critical thought was influenced by the simpsons and especially her storylines.
5:39 is that book that Bart snatched the pages from with his friends Really the same book as Lisa's diary in the other scene before it when Bart is actually reading it?
B can be dismissed as Marge put it on her plate (because Marge is notoriously pushy on others if they don't abide by her religious, dietary or social beliefs) without actually eating it. C can be dismissed because GELATIN is notoriously from bones but vegetarian jello exists and jello style desserts can be made with agar agar.
What if both Homer AND Lisa are cannibalistic serial killers and the police believed it was just one single murderer because they both use the same method to get rid of the bones?
you can get mock meats I suspect it's lazy animators but with newer Eps of Lisa she is more sus about her values. Though by only season 10 she was seemed annoyed Homer didn't boil alive his pet Lobster because she "likes the smell" which is sus for somebody who thinks eating animals is wrong .
Its obvious how she does it - she lures the homeless back to her room where she feeds them those green drinks from troll 2 that turn people into lisas favorite food - half man, half plant goo that she eats in secret The simpsons should never have taken that summer trip to nilbog
I've seen a lot of shows where a family eats meat, but there's that one child that's is or becomes a vegetarian/vegan. But what do you do if it's the reverse? What if you're a family that's mostly vegetarian/vegan, but your child likes to eat meat and has no intentions of conforming? Just curious 🤔
This explains so much like where Lisa gets her sadistic streak On another note I still have questions about the time Homer visited the steel mill and became traumatized by hotdogs

Brilliant work as always... but as for Exhibit C at 2:18, it gives me no pleasure to say... your DEDUCTION, was FAULTY! There exists a kind of algae from which a gelatin-like substance called agar-agar (or just agar in the West) can be produced, and which is predominantly used in South East Asia to make jelly and assorted gelatinous desserts. You might also be able to produce a jello with fruit pectin, but I don't know if that could create a product as stable as Ella Fitz-Jello. So Lisa probably used one of those to hide her cannibalism from prying eyes.
How dare you question Springfield's greatest detective?! 🤣🤣🤣 Lol of course you can explain it away, there's also fake meat, but where's the fun in that hahaha
@@soursimpsonsHaha I mean, a drumstick is pretty difficult and pointless to fake, I'd have thought. But honestly the reason I wrote the comment is that I'd just read another comment here, about someone who felt like they had seen the matrix because they had never realized gelatin is made from animals, and I felt bad for that person. Maybe all the jello they ate was alga-y and not carcass-y.
The book how to cook humans is actually from a episode with The aliens kong and the other one. She blows dust off the cover and they discover what is under the dust . The cook book is kongs.
I know this video is facetious and I want to let you know that I love this video and I appreciate the effort you put into it. You're awesome. (Also in the references when meat was on Lisa's plate, she never actually ate it.)
Counterpoint to Exhibit C, the Jello: You can make Jello with vegan alternatives to animal-based gelatin, such as cornstarch, agar agar, and xanthum gum... to name a few. You quite literally CAN have vegan Jello.
Blue Truth: It was never said or implied that it plant-based jello. While it can be argued that the real source of that jello in in limbo, her secretive meat-consumption points it to being meat-based. Also we have never seen her handling plants to process it. Based on the video alone, she is handling meat which can argued that some of it was made in jello!

But, y'know, it is against the law, and we gotta take her in for this, we'd look bad if we didn't.
@6:13 - Not surprising, either.
Haha, yeah springfields stance on crime is pretty soft
As a Vegan, I love meat too, but left the addiction because I love animals more. Also, I also eat false- meatballs and peperoni because you can buy Vegan/vegeterian versions of them.
Those do sound tasty... i wouldnt mind trying them
I guess lisa may not be as self righteous as she thought
Nobody could turn down bacon.
@@soursimpsons It's true, but it's one thing to always look down on others for eating it.
It could be worse. She could have become a me-gan like Homer. At least this way, she's turned her problem into a positive for the community.
Lol, there's a solution! Release the cannibals!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching!
She still will eat conventional sugar (many vegetarians won't as it might be refined with bone charcoal.)
It's no so different from the fact that, while she is a committed Buddhist now, she still consumes onions, garlic and other things really observant Buddhists won't.
Did know know that about the buddhists. Learnt something new!
0:51 Graggle makes another cameo
😜👍
sugestion: investigate Selmas lack of smell. she mentions it in the episode where she marries Selma and she can't smell the gas. im sure i see scenes where the twin sistrs complain about smell
Oh interesting, I'll have to keep my eye open for them smelling things!
they both gasps for air one episode where Homer forced them to smell his armpits
There was actually an episode about that, except with bugs!
Then technically they have to drink 100 percent purified water, so the poor microorganisms don't get swallowed
And like father, like daughter. Like homer can’t give up his drinking habits, I’m pretty sure Lisa can’t give up her meat 🥩 eating habits too . The poor mail box 📦 man 👨🏽 had me too . 😁😊❤️💕
Haha so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching
@@soursimpsons your welcome , friend ! 😁😇😊❤️💕
Thank goodness, for a second I thought it was that dog with the shifty eyes, but it was Lisa all along
That dog is up to no good, i'll have to find out what
People love to hate on Lisa because of what she’s like in the later seasons, but she was so good in the earlier ones and it sucks that people forget that.
I hear ya. Definitely mistreated by the fans.
I agree
What you’ve essentially done is recapped the French-Belgian horror film Raw and imposed the story beats of that film onto Lisa
Sounds like i have another movie to watch
I wonder if she killed and ate Graggle.
Is that where he went?!
@@soursimpsons Couldn't you say there's a little bit of Graggle in all of us?
Don't forget those skeletons that have been seen in between the first and second floor of the house
Ooo thats interesting, i'll look into those
This chananel is under rated, another great video.
Thank you! It's still young. Hope to build it up over the next few years
Agreed.
5:39 is that book that Bart snatched the pages from with his friends Really the same book as Lisa's diary in the other scene before it when Bart is actually reading it?
No haha, the second diary is the diary of a mental patient
0:50 hi Graggle
😉👍
B can be dismissed as Marge put it on her plate (because Marge is notoriously pushy on others if they don't abide by her religious, dietary or social beliefs) without actually eating it. C can be dismissed because GELATIN is notoriously from bones but vegetarian jello exists and jello style desserts can be made with agar agar.
Oh, I see! Then I guess everything's wrapped up in a neat little package!
How do you explain all of the new friends then>?!
What if both Homer AND Lisa are cannibalistic serial killers and the police believed it was just one single murderer because they both use the same method to get rid of the bones?
Of course! All the signs are there!
The case of the two headed cannibal.
you can get mock meats I suspect it's lazy animators but with newer Eps of Lisa she is more sus about her values.
Though by only season 10 she was seemed annoyed Homer didn't boil alive his pet Lobster because she "likes the smell" which is sus for somebody who thinks eating animals is wrong .
Mock meats don't taste anything like the real thing, and I doubt Marge would buy them.
Haha yeah it can definitely be mock meat, but that seems like a lazy excuse.
I really hope they get a guest star whose requirement is she become a carnivore.
Lol that would be crazy!
Its obvious how she does it - she lures the homeless back to her room where she feeds them those green drinks from troll 2 that turn people into lisas favorite food - half man, half plant goo that she eats in secret
The simpsons should never have taken that summer trip to nilbog
Damn, that sounds horrific!
0:49 is that Graggle??!???!
🤫
You could say there's a bit of "homeless person" in all of us, especially Lisa! *snicker* You could even say Lisa ate them vagabonds! *laugh*
🤣🤣
Yoooo she pushed a vagebond under a trolley that explains a lot this theoroy actually seems plausible
There's no limit to her madness!
4:03
Look, another bizarre Simpsons front-face for the next compilation.
Lol, lots more of that to come
I love your work. Excellent 😊
Thanks for watching!
A funny part about this is that I’m vegetarian. I have no idea about the Jell-O.
Yeah be careful!
Be careful, a lot of sweets have animal gelatine.
I have friends who are vegetarians. They still cook meat for their kids and don't pressure them to be vegetarians.
This explains so much like where Lisa gets her sadistic streak
On another note I still have questions about the time Homer visited the steel mill and became traumatized by hotdogs
Darn that gay steel mill!
@@soursimpsons still have some questions that haven't been answered
I have one: an explination to the floating timeline, let's explore the fan theory of treehouse of horror 4, when homer traveled in time and this caused a simpson multiverse
Damn them time traveling toasters! They created alternate timelines!
I never knew a Simpsons version of bikini bottom mysterys was what I needed
Haha yes!
I can't believe it that lisa keeping her secret and lying to being vegetarian for her family, her brother, and her friends!
All vegetarians do!
Great video dude keep it up 🤘🏽💯
Thank you! A new video will be out on Friday
Lisa is done, exposed
The truth is out there!
It's true you don't make friends with salad, you got to have some meat.
🤣👏
One can make friends with me with salad. :)
@@suklapaksa8643 It says "you don't make friendS with salad." We're allowed one.
Gonna risk being piled on here, but I don't like pepperoni pizza. Like, it's...fine. But I would never, ever choose it. I'd always get something nicer, which is most pizzas.
You've just made an enemy for life! Lol
Yeah I see your point, for example I like cheese pizza. I don't hate pepperoni, it's just that cheese pizza is the first that comes to mind when I order pizza
@@wilsonweiseng6485 Oh God, are pizzas in America that boring that pepperoni and margherita are your only options? So many wonderful combinations on offer, I'd never go for one of the "normal" ones.
@@MuchWhittering i mean i could, i tried once, but then the damn cashier asked me if i wanted pineapple... that is why i never picked anything beyond the normal ones
0:49 is that graggle Simpson ?
You found him!
But the part where Bart shares a Diary with his friends isn't Lisa's, it's a diary he found in an abandoned psych ward/mental hospital but for the sake of entertainment I'll let it slide and pretend it's her's.
Dramatization. May not have happened lol
That went from 1 to 100 real quick. Don't know what I expected. Lol😅
Haha, i'll go to 200 next time!
Well, Lisa Simpson did eat Bart's hot dog...
And Ned's footlong...
@@soursimpsons The evidence just keeps piling up against Lisa the Cannibal
Finally, the streets of Springfield are safe again. No more cannibal lurking the night.
Yeah, but the homeless run the nights!
People say it's just Storyboard inconsistencies, but theorists say otherwise.
I say it's a massive conspiracy!
This honestly would be a great THOH short!
Glad you enjoyed it!
5:13 Noooo, not the Labor Day cake for Lenny!!!
Not Lenny's!... cake!
Remember the Halloween episode with the extra bart in the attic?
Bart's twin was never seen again
Lol thats a strange topic because it is non cannon
@@soursimpsons lol true 😅 idk why UA-cam didn't notify me sooner
Wasn’t she seen eating meat too with the Halloween special with dr Hibert making folks into animals and notice the nerd is the bird.
But It's a Halloween episode. It's considered non-canon.
Thats interesting, i'll have to rewatch that episode
It a shame that being vegan became half of her personality
Like real life vegans, you mean?
@na-ky8ou yes
The book how to cook humans is actually from a episode with The aliens kong and the other one. She blows dust off the cover and they discover what is under the dust . The cook book is kongs.
Bingo!
According to your other channel she eats Ned's meat
"Not in the face."
And she ate bart's hotdog lol
"We're only gonna focus on episodes after s7e5"
"Anyways here's an episode from 14 years later"
I know this video is facetious and I want to let you know that I love this video and I appreciate the effort you put into it. You're awesome. (Also in the references when meat was on Lisa's plate, she never actually ate it.)
Thanks, glad you enjyoed it!
She’s also seen eating chicken wings in an 1996 advert for Church’s Chicken (now known as Church’s Texas Chicken).
Haha I'll have to look that up. But i assume that was before she became a vegetarian.
0:54 episode name?
4:52 OK that is funny
Glad you enjoyed it!
now that is one deep cut, I'm impressed.
Glad you enjoyed it!
well like Pink Floyd said you can't have any pudding if you don't eat your meat
Mmmm... meat pudding
I think Lisa was a vegetarian because she was paranoid of food poisoning
Lol food poisoning is no laughing matter
Todd Flanders was 30 years ahead of the curve in not wanting his damn vegetables.
No bible stories for him tonight!
probably the animators forget about lisa
Everybody does 😅
Nobody: .................
Lisa: I'am Vegetarian!!!
I never knew!
Counterpoint to Exhibit C, the Jello:
You can make Jello with vegan alternatives to animal-based gelatin, such as cornstarch, agar agar, and xanthum gum... to name a few.
You quite literally CAN have vegan Jello.
Lisa did not specify, nice try
Blue Truth:
It was never said or implied that it plant-based jello. While it can be argued that the real source of that jello in in limbo, her secretive meat-consumption points it to being meat-based.
Also we have never seen her handling plants to process it. Based on the video alone, she is handling meat which can argued that some of it was made in jello!
But how do you explain all her new friends?!
0:50 A screenshot from the classic episode when Graggle took them all out for Krusty burgers and frosty chocolate milkshakes. Nice!
Good ole graggle!
Remember when Lisa had Bart’s hot dog? And touching Ralph in his special area? Those already confirmed that Lisa wasn’t vegetarian.
