Looking back on it, this game is crazy impressive for the time. In the first level, you had AI companions, realistic-ish locations, a wall getting destroyed to reveal that cool canyon section that the stormtroopers are in, convincing enemy chatter, an orchestral score, all before Half Life came out. Even compared to Quake 2 and Unreal, this game is genuinely cutting edge.
Something else too: in the area at 6:48, there's a Stormtrooper basically hiding in the corner around the wall. As a kid I was playing in third-person camera and was able to see him there, and I swung the lightsaber in the air to test if he'd hear me and come investigate. Sure enough, he said (and I quote): 'I hear something', and walked over to the corner I was hiding behind. The NPC AI was smart enough to actually pick up on the player's presence, and go to investigate it.

I'm not sure how they'd go about it, I doubt that just revamping the graphics would be enough. Better to create a new saga, as original and engaging as this was back in the 90s... but with modern tech, proper world design, proper voice acting, etc.

i just want this again!
Steam
@@MarblyMan Well i know thers the entire collection, very cheap, but u know what i mean, i want this, but with unreal 5 o unreal 4 motor, new graphics, maybe they can reboot kyle, i like kenan style or even galen marek style, or a edit charcter, that we can made our protagonist, but i like a lot, that u can choose between, weapons, not only jedi light saber, and powers, speed force, big jumps, mind trick, health, lighting, force grip, the meditation power that u can travel some of the areas without really move, and all that incredible powers of this saga! awesome games every one!
It was Luke, at the game after the end credits?
I kinda wish they had used the sprite from 2 for Kyle instead of just his sith look. Then his turn to the dark side would have been slightly less obvious.
Also, even Rhino Romano is one of my favorite VOs I kinda miss love action Kyle.
They should do a remake of this game
I'm not sure how they'd go about it, I doubt that just revamping the graphics would be enough.
Better to create a new saga, as original and engaging as this was back in the 90s... but with modern tech, proper world design, proper voice acting, etc.
I have to play this game one more time
This was an expansion right? My best friend and i always played these. Back in the day only some people had computers. Hed bring these copies over and wed install them on my PC and level skip to where we were at his house.
what an underrated game
I love the no commentary
Didn't show how to disable the control switch.
2:47:00 Where is Darth Vader?
How DID Kyle find references to the Sith temple? I wish that had been part of the game.
Maybe it was cut content from the second and/or third level when Kyle was wreaking havoc aboard the asteroid station. That’s the only logical explanation I can come up with at least
Agreed! It's particularly strange because the title of the game ("Mysteries of the Sith") seems to imply the game would be primarily about that, but it's instead it focuses on Mara Jade tooling around in space for the New Republic until the final mission.
Huh. Forgot this existed
I had no idea JK 2 had any expansions!
Good expansion pack for an already great classic game, but why on Earth are some of the sections in the mission levels so friggin' dark?
Light engines were really lackluster back then
Dromuun Kaas was mentioned before TOR?!?! Why did I not know this?!
They took it from here hehe
Hold on, why was the Millenium Falcon there?!
Is it 3d acceleration enabled?
I love this game
But Dromund Kaas levels are too hard
I received MOTS for free in a bundle but it just never had the staying power of JK1. I don't think it was supported on Gaming Zone either, or nobody played it. Great games though.
I remember playing it a few times on MSN Gaming Zone. Some of the extra modes they had were actually a bit more fun than JK's were, but most people played JK and made more mods for JK.
Incredible
1:14:47 best mission !!!
Another story that is still better than anything Disney has crapped out with their woke wars.
when i first play this i got to the heart of the sith temple n at 2:17:50......i just jump all the way down to the circle platform thing n didnt die....so everything u did from 2:17:50 to 2:35:38 i didnt even know about it existed
@Justus Bowman watch the speedrun and you'll know. ua-cam.com/video/zRj9hWZI1Ww/v-deo.html
can you beat him in the end for another ending? i tried for at least 45min right now and came here to find out how to beat him... boy was i surprised :P
As far as I know it's impossible to actually beat him. The solution is actually quite brilliant. Not only is it perfectly in keeping with franchise Lore, but the level itself literally tells you what to do (see the mural at 2:37:00).
It is a good game except the last two missions that suck. Insane difficulty spikes at some places.
Welcome to 90s gaming. Difficulty spikes were literally the name of the game.
A légendary game and bussereau what he say?
Everyone who liked this video is definitely 35 yrs or higher.....
Time when day 1 release is a full complete bug free game
