I love the arts and culture here in reno! Such a diverse little community.
It is definitely one of my favorite parts of living here!
We are moving from NYC to Reno soon, i feel excited and i don't feel at all we are missing anything in Reno! Love the diversity , food choices , area and all the things in such close proximity! And yes and finally owning a home! And yes we are as well loving the art and culture! My only worry is the high altitude adjustment, from NYC to Reno over 4000 feet!? And yes of course schools yes. We'll have one kiddo special education and second one high school...we will see...
I totally understand all of your concerns. The altitude gets easier. You get really used to it as fast as just a few days in. (I am from MA, so I can attest...) Just drink lots of water and rest when you arrive and you will be okay. Check out my video on schools for my insight on that :)
Yea lovely place. See homeless ladies wiping their ass on a street corner. Locals that make a living stealing from people in casinos,bars etc. City of Reno has nothing to offer.
@@ricdrakes2741 Every city has a mix of good and bad folks. Reno has come a really long way in the past ten years, and with the mass exodus of CA, I see the upswing continuing. :)
@@sarahisselling Closing the motels in town has caused a major homeless problem. Feel very unsafe walking at night. Reno is full of scamming degenerate gamblers.
@@ricdrakes2741 Sorry to hear you don't feel safe. It isn't an issue that I have encountered, but I don't tend to be out very late at night at this phase in my life.
I love RENO The biggest little city in the world. Sooooooo many things to do , sportd , great food golf in Reno and Taho .and gambling of cource We are is San Francisco only 4 hours away so we visit at least 6 times a Year

Schools were really good when I grew up there in the 70s and 80s.
I hope we get back to that soon! I think with the influx of people they will have to up our education game.
where does most of the people working at Tesla Giga factory live?
Hey Luis, they live anywhere in the Reno/Sparks area. The factory itself is in Sparks, but the two cities are neighboring, so it is really easy to live in either one. Let me know if you want to hop on a call for more info.
