Definitely I have a pair of these and they are stunning, unfortunately as way to many on each lot I have to cull most while still eggs , amazing parents , keeping an eye out for all your updates 😁😁😁
I have a 210 Gallon with various central american Cichlids. Do you think it's possible to keep a pair of carpintis in there? I have 2 carpintis in there now, but I think they're both females.
@@thecichliddojo4245 I have a 500 gallon with peaceful but large south American and central American cichlids. When the Texas cichlids are the right size to move over from my grow out tank, how many do you recommend for the 500 and not have a lot of aggression?
That's a good question. Unfortunately I don't have a dream tank like that to get to experience it. I would guess the same thing could happen that occurred in my 180g, just that it'll happen at a larger size and more pairs forming. If you want to avoid that scenario I recommend removing all females so it's a male only tank. Maybe start with 20-30 to hopefully end up with 15 males
I feed a variety of flake, pellets, sticks, krill, blood worms. Flake and pellet include multiple Ken's fish flake, nls, northfin, hikari, otohime, fluval flake
The blue coloration on them is simply beautiful Matt. Love Em!
