The neat thing about the Big Horn package is the paint options. Its the top of the trim levels that also lets you use the low volume paint colors. So you can option up the truck and then get a cool paint color.
Nice truck. I agree that the Big Horn is the best mix of value and content! This is a nice truck but it is so similar to my '14 that I personally can't get interested in upgrading to a new model yet. Still, this is a really nice truck for the money.
My 2015 got 23mpg regularly on the highway. 16mpg I usually got city. Keep up the good work. Wish they would put the new 1/2 ton crew cab in the 3/4 and 1 ton. I feel like the mega cab is too big for my purposes but this crew cab is slightly too small.
Killer B I’ve been wishing this too. They have so much more room; more equivalent to the alumiduty cabs as far as roominess. I ended up buying a leftover 18 because I couldn’t justify spending the money for the new model with the same cab. But if they would put that new cab on the heavy duty’s, I’d trade mine in in a heartbeat.
Just traded my 18 ram bighorn sport 3500 6.4 4:10 gears granite Crystal for a 21 ram 2500 bighorn sport night edition bright white 6.4 3:73 gears both trucks have a lot of options love the bighorn you get a lot of value for the money and the 2500 rides much better than my 3500 you will really tell the difference over a rough road
Beautiful Truck,my bud just got that same exact one for 51k in NJ. I was gonna buy one when he showed me but they didn't have another there. Still looking😌
Nice truck, but why isn't Dodge Corp passing on the savings To Its customers, it being made in Mexico an all with cheaper labor . What part of let's make America great again does dodge not understand.
Why does everyone skip the bottom of the door like there's no function there? I love how in my Ram the bottom of the door doesn't have those basic plastic cup holders, but instead has foam inserts that will keep my drinks cold on road trips. Just saying it's a little detail of the truck that is so nice to have when you need it but generally isn't thought about.
I had a ‘14 4th gen cummins with the 68rfe and it performed very well for me. I hauled hay and cows in the mud/snow sold it at 87k miles and not an issue. Granted didnt hit over 100k with it either. But up to that point that I sold it it was solid still.
i had this car for 2 weeks - but the gas engine version. these are great trucks.....but the suspension over bumps is harsh, much better in a 1500. these trucks are expensive AF, even in just Big Horn trim.
Awesome as always; what’s the difference between this one and the power wagon? They seem to be the same but from watching your videos it seems that the power wagon is a nicer truck. Of the 2 I like the power wagon 2500.
Power wagon comes with diff lockers front and rear, sway bar disconnect and winch, I believe is a warn 16k pound. Most power wagons are pretty loaded, leather and sunroof, 360 camera on the new ones, but some people get them basic
Guys, why are the rear seats in the heavy duty trucks smaller? They look smaller than for the 1500. Also, why does the middle rear seat have a shorter lower cushion?
If you want max towing you need to make sure it has the 4.10 axel ratio not the 3.73 ratio the 3.73 max towing is 25.000 and the 4.10 ratio max towing bumps up too 33000 with the high out put engine and asin trans
I have an identical “same color even” 2020 Ram 2500 Big Horn Diesel. I called the Dealership to see if Remote Start was an add on option for my truck,,,,Service Dept told me it wasn’t an option on the Diesel!!!! Wtf??? 😬
It might not have it. You can use apple car play if you have an iPhone. That’s what I do. You can then use the maps on your phone to use navigation. Or Android car play. It’s worth a Google.
My 2019 F350 King Ranch Ultimate dually caught fire during an accident. FORD will provide no assistance on their defective truck. Was hit on passenger side and caught fire on the driver's side inside the cab. Any how, those of you that own RAM, have there been any major issues with them? Did they ever resolve the AC problem? Looking at purchasing a 3500 Laramie Longhorn dually once insurance pays off the sh..t ford
I would get a 2018, the 19's have not been time tested. The reason for this is because they went and changed the motor and added horsepower and torque. That is just my personal opinion however as I have driven both and I decided to go with an 18 as it was the last year of the 6.7 before they went and changed alot of things up.
Because FCA was going to move the HD manufacturing to the US, but weird corporate things happended and they are still produced in mexico right now. The 2022 trucks will have the 1500 cab
I test drove a 2020 Cummins. Comfortable seats, little road noise and powerful, but it feels like a very cheaply made truck. My 2007 F-350 Lariat is way better made and it’s a 13 year old truck. That said I still might buy one because I don’t have faith in the 6.7 Power Stroke.
Thanks for showing the DOT door stickers. Seeing the GVWR and payload helps a lot.
The neat thing about the Big Horn package is the paint options. Its the top of the trim levels that also lets you use the low volume paint colors. So you can option up the truck and then get a cool paint color.
Scott Symons does have a ton of color options

Still in love with my 2018 Tradesman 2500 Cummins. Just wish it had rubber floor instead of carpet.
gun freak get the weather Tech mats, they are awesome 👍🏻
The CUUUMMINGS
I'm sold! Just one problem. Can't afford it
LOL

Yep you right that's why I love my 2008 Dodge ram with hemi
I like how this video had lipstick commercial before it started. Very relevant.

This will be my dream truck to afford Ben.
I think this looks much better than the 1500s. Something I would buy.
I just wish we could get the high output in the 2500’s .
Anthony Phillip they need to change that
What do u mean by high output?
DO YOU WANT ONE?
Beautiful Truck,my bud just got that same exact one for 51k in NJ.

Must have been a gasser for that price
ARE YOU STILL LOOKING? MSG ME FOR PERSONAL #.
Nice truck, but why isn't Dodge Corp passing on the savings To Its customers, it being made in Mexico an all with cheaper labor . What part of let's make America great again does dodge not understand.
Dodge doesn't manufacture this truck.
@@Jophlo78 , who then builds these trucks, I'm interested in buying one . Might just stick to chevrolet instead.
My neighbor just bought a Dodge 2500 Ram with Cummings diesel. Gonna find out whether this truck is durable or not , real soon .
@@sonicboom2723 They're a Chrysler/Fiat product through Ram dealers. From what I gather they don't have strong reliability ratings.
@@Jophlo78 , appreciate the information . I'm going to see how my friends truck does before I make a decision .
The Rams look the best and their interiors are luxurious. How is the reliability in the 2500 diesel?
The motor is the only reason people buy this truck
It’s great
Cummins says it all.

Heard the 68fre is unreliable but since this is a new model does the transmission have any major problems?

@B B I own a 2022 Longhorn 1500 - it rides better than my S550
Awesome as always; what’s the difference between this one and the power wagon? They seem to be the same but from watching your videos it seems that the power wagon is a nicer truck. Of the 2 I like the power wagon 2500.
Lou Levin diesel towing truck vs gas off-road truck
Power wagon comes with diff lockers front and rear, sway bar disconnect and winch, I believe is a warn 16k pound. Most power wagons are pretty loaded, leather and sunroof, 360 camera on the new ones, but some people get them basic
Such a good work truck!
Nice truck. Did I see that right? Made in Mexico?
sprocket226 they are
Claro que si , al igual que todos los motores HEMI , hasta el mismo Supercharged del Demon esta hecho en Mexico🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Mexico or USA it don’t matter what matters is reliability and power which ram has power but not so much reliability
Guys, why are the rear seats in the heavy duty trucks smaller? They look smaller than for the 1500. Also, why does the middle rear seat have a shorter lower cushion?
Would upgrading the BigHorn to turn it into something better offroad than the stock PowerWagon (no diesel option) be possible?
What are these trucks selling for?
STOP starting the truck and then turning it right back off, IT'S NOT GOOD FOR THE DIESEL ENGINE.
Will not affect engine, long idle time is not good for def filter system
It’s not a diesel from the 80s.
Keyless entry?

Can you get keyless entry on bighorn trim level???
Ya drove one 2 day
Nope not that i know of. You can get it with the Laramie.
I have an identical “same color even” 2020 Ram 2500 Big Horn Diesel. I called the Dealership to see if Remote Start was an add on option for my truck,,,,Service Dept told me it wasn’t an option on the Diesel!!!! Wtf??? 😬
It is a extra feature
Kind of difficult to get in? Difficult??!!
Where is the navigation o0n this truck I have not been able to find it I just got the truck yesterday.
It might not have it. You can use apple car play if you have an iPhone. That’s what I do. You can then use the maps on your phone to use navigation. Or Android car play. It’s worth a Google.
What color is that truck?
How do you compare the ride quality with 2020 Ford super duty
Mohammed Nuredin it’s pretty close to the same, ford might be slightly smoother
@@BenHardyCars I found the opposite to be true, test drove both in the past week.
It is the ram 2500 Big Horn 6.7l
can one get a rear locker on this truck supposedly some of the trucks are to come with one
Gary Finnstrom yeah
62K is insane
I know right! Plus the 10k mark up here in California
4:42 lolol

Made in Mexico , same as all Hemi’s 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Viages 7693 it’s a Cummins though.
Yea so is gm’s 1500’s and ram hd trucks
What's the $20,000 premium over the tradesman for?
Hangover Chilly most of the cost is in the Diesel engine
Cummins is worth the price.

Bob D the Dodge Ram in sandy can lol
@@BenHardyCars Ben i know i am asking you to get me 1500 limited black with night apperance and ram boxes
$62,000, a good value? You’ve lost your mind. There is nothing worth that.
That's sticker price. Nobody pays that. 55k range is probably where most dealers have them. Wait until fall and you can get it under 50k
When your broke, even a Hamburger seems like a rip off.
Whitchurch diesel is better 6.4 or 6.7 ? Do they have the same HP?

Made in Mexico stick it
Is that a bad thing or does it really matter more like quality control you should worry about
Do you prefer made in China?
that front end is still hideous, they cleaned up 1500 but it looks like it has huge "nose"....just make it flat all will be good
Got that random ass tan roof inside. I hate it!
