  • Whilst several Apollo Missions launched into space before Apollo 11, it was the first time humans successfully managed to walk on the surface of the moon. With years of hard work and hundreds of scientists and engineers working together to make it possible, this documentary explores just how mankind managed to come together so that Neil Armstrong could become the first person on the moon.

Awesome video! ..I been trying to find this👍.. I saw Buzz Aldrin speak for an hour here in NZ in 2010 about his experience ON the Moon and in space...and Neil Armstrong said it would be harder to fake than to succeed.. and now we are going back to stay... and eventually go beyond! 🌚... thanks from down under 🇳🇿👍(23/5/2022)

The audio in this is way too hard to understand while the narrator is talking.
    Besides that, good video.

Agreed. The background is unnecessary and too loud, the people speaking is also somehow fuzzy. I’m stopping halfway with this video

Does anyone know at what point everyone started thinking that doing an EVA had practical importance, that it was something they all needed to know how to do?

Why do they keep the actual radio communications at the same volume as the narration. They wash each other out. Dumb

@@MarkAMMarrk Thanks ! Probably you believe in Climate Change doctrine, that Kennedy was killed by Oswald and that the Twin Towers were demolished by the impact of two planes. Please use your brain and don't believe in all the things that the media repeat many times.

The boffins say the Moon's gravity at the surface is only 17 percent that of Earth's. Using the same force of a jump on Earth, you could rise about 3 metres (10 feet) off the ground and stay in the air for about 4 seconds with a spacsuit ,when the astronauts jumped on the moon it was 2ft same as earth Thats why I believe we never went to the moon

You're not taking into account the bulky and heavy spacesuits they had on and considerations of centre of mass etc. Moon landing stuff often looks odd to those who don't really know the science and can't be bothered to research things properly, and thus are easily self-deluded by their naive misgivings which are rooted only in ignorance and arrogance..

I have studied the Apollo program for many years and Its now 2023 and they haven't even managed to solve the problem to provide enough protection on the Orion capsule, I mean you wouldn't want to harm those astronauts venturing past the VAB now would you, once they solved this then they will fly humans to the moon.
There is a stupid stupid claim with the Apollo 11 that they averted the original landing because of heavy thunderstorm below and subsequently diverted the spacecraft to safer landing site, what a load of bollocks, firstly a spacecraft approaching Earth at 17,000mph would need to perform a skip entry so no-one would know where it would end up and secondly no-one on earth can steer it as it has no wings or rudder, its all fairy tales.

It would be extremely dangerous to jump 10 ft in the air on the moon. The astronauts backpack is so heavy compared to their body so it would tip them backwards (you can find an actual video of this happening if you search "astronaut falling on moon").
Also consider that the astronauts space suits were pressurized and greatly restricted movement.
Anyway, if there was a video of someone jumping 10 ft on the moon, you would just say it was special effects, since you have already made up your mind.

And for quite different reasons, I don't think they were there.
A trip to the moon was one of the many lies of the Pentagon's propaganda.
They have deceived the whole world recently.
      They invented the pandemic.
In fact, it wasn't even a normal flu.
