- Hey, all! Thanks so much for checking out my newest Trip Report! Hope you all enjoyed it!
I am a huge fan of these Embraer E175 airplanes. They are a super comfortable bird to fly on! What are your thoughts on the E175? Let me know in the description below!
This was my 3rd flight ever on an E175, and my 2nd flight on an ex-Compass Airlines E175. This bird used to operate as Compass dba American Eagle, before being transferred to Envoy Air in recent months.

The music is too loud
Here in Germany and particulary at my home-airport Düsseldorf-International (DUS), very often, the KLM - Royal Dutch Airlines (KL) on behalf of KLM CityHopper uses exactly this aircraft-type on it,s very short services (approx. 30 - 45 min.) to Amsterdam-Schiphol (AMS) in the Netherlands. This route is KL shortest European airline-service. I like these still partly new regio-jets too. The most imposant sights of these E-175-jets are the relatively large "sharklets" at the end of the wings.Mostly today onboard such very small regio-jets you find much more legroom for example, then onboard new A320NEO or 737 airliners. Four Years ago I was flown onboard a then in-service KLM Fokker 70 from AMS to DUS. Today, KLM not anymore has Fokker 70 in their fleet. Today all were replaced with for example these shiny E-175 regio-jetliners.
Thank you for taking us along !!
Me too the Embraer 175 my favorite and most comfortable and love those engines sound are music to me. My home airport is MIA and there are alots of 175’s ( envoy) serving within Florida, The Bahamas 🇧🇸 and some big cities outside of Florida
Thanks for sharing this, Charlie. Will take my first ever AA flight this year via an E175 :-)
Great trip report! I love the E175 great aircraft
Thank you!!
what's the best first-class seat on the 1a-4a side with regards to the windows being mis aligned? I am trying to not strain my neck too hard when looking out.
They all don’t have the best alignment unfortunately. I’m gonna say that 4A or 3A would be my go-to. Closer to the wing/ engine.
I just flew first class on this aircraft. Seat 1A. Comfortable!
i just took a flight on a e175 out of colombus out of that gate like 2 weeks ago ahha
Nice! Hope you had a good flight!
Nice trip report! This was a very short flight
Was there a lot of turbulence? I will be flying for the first time next month and this will be the plane I’ll be one from RDU
Don’t be nervous. There is never a lot of turbulence unless there is a lot of weather going on. Tell the flight attendants it’s your first time they will be happy to help you with everything. Enjoy!
@@connordyess4624 thank you do much for that advise. as I get closer, I'm getting excited but anxious as im afraid of heights and am claustrophobic, hence why I figured first class would at lease give me a little more space.
@@marcuskevin7124 wow I will be riding this as well from RDU to Miami aug 13
@@galis2014 that’s where I flew too 👍
Nice
Thanks!
I always prefer to fly the ERJ-175 over the CRJ-900. The cabin is way more spacious on the E175.
Agreed!
Have you been on a E190 yet?
Yes! I’ve got a video on one from a long time ago
I have been on a e 175 they are much better than the crappy crj200
The CRJ200 can be fun though haha. It’s been awhile since I’ve flown on one.
