My girlfriend and I started playing board games towards the end of last year when we picked up carcasone randomly and started getting into the hobby. I was definitely more into it at the time, but she started doing some research and looking around. She settled on everdell and was in love with the concept, then she got it for herself for Christmas. Not even 3 months later and she's absolutely hooked and obsessed with it, to the point that I'm struggling to get her to play any other games. Finally, for her birthday in April, I decided to bite the bullet and get the complete collection. I'm watching this video and writing this right now after just placing the order for it, having it be easily our biggest gaming investment after only starting about 5 months ago. All in all, just from her love of the initial game, I already know that this is going to be entirely worth it
I hope she absolutely LOVES it :) There's something really lovely and satisfying about having it all together, Everdell was a favourite for me too and having the Complete Collection felt weirdly like I'd achieved something - a non-existent milestone in gaming I guess! What an amazing gift 😊

I have never played Everdell but I am glad I held out until I purchased the Collectors edition.

So I understand it comes with the deluxe resources but I didn’t seen the deluxe resource holders in the box, i just want to make sure it does

I just bought the collector's edition, then just saw your video and now i'm thinking of returning it. The box is so big though, I don't think I can justify putting it on my shelf lol
You definitely need a good sized shelf, but I personally think it's worth it! 😄
Do sleeved cards fit into the inserts?
Yes. Sleeve Kings has a Collectors Edition set for this game that I bought and it does work for the inserts.
I haven’t sleeved them myself but I’m told they do!
Please! Does it come with a, Everdell Farshore Wooden Lighthouse?
It does not! Everdell Farshore came out afterwards, and is a standalone rather than an expansion 😊

Pretty gross that the first thing you see when you open the box is additional stuff you can buy that wasn't included in the insanely expensive COMPLETE edition...
None of that stuff is gameplay related.
