      The one time he does, he gets the price wrong. It's $130. If you look at Ameridroid, they include the $30 shipping up front instead of trying to hide it like Hardkernel does.

      Because not only we finally have an affordable SBC that's actually capable of good GameCube and Wii emulation, but also the perfect case for it!
      I started watching ETA Prime four years ago exactly because I wanted a small, dedicated device for GameCube and Wii emulation and now it's (hopefully) finally here!

      If you add up the $30 shipping, all the accessories, and tax, you'll see it's not actually affordable. You're looking at $300ish.

    Would love to see what the H4 Ultra can do Emulation wise! But so far this does look promising. And yes please, for modding and putting something with a bit more juice in this.

    you could absolutely use that power button and reset button with another SBC, just gotta figure out which pins are for the buttons than you can use female to female jumper cables to whatever other SBC you want

    This is brilliant. It's a Gamecube case with a board that can emulate Gamecube.
    I want it in Indigo or Silver though. I picture Gamecubes as either the Nintendo Indigo or Silver.

    I'm in the market for a htpc ... so the contendants are RPI6 and Odroid M1S but never considered x86 variants.
    But.... now I'm curious.... especially about the box.
    What do you think... will it run 1080p videos and 60fps youtube?

    You should make a running performance chart of all the small box Ryzen systems you have tested. Wattage, noise, benchmarks etc.

    Now I know that cpu is probably very weak compared to handhelds and such but since you have the option of buying extra boards with m.2 slots on them, could you hook an m.2 to oculink adapter to this and use a egpu over oculink? It would be heavily bottlenecked but what kind of frames would you get?

    Legit since your video, was looking at cases for Nano-ITX boards and it's ridiculous the lack of them. The only thing close I found was a Nano-ITX to Mini-ITX adapter in order to mount it in a more mainstream case, but it defeats the purpose 😕

      Don't get your hopes up. He failed to mention the $30 shipping. If you add up the $30 shipping, all the accessories, and tax, you'll see it's not actually affordable. You're looking at $300ish.

    Actually, it's an x86_64 capable system. Install any Linux distro, or even any *BSD/Unix OS.
    Presently, I'm running Linux Mint Cinnamon 22 likety-split.

      The 35W mobile Intel CPUs have significantly improved GPUs if you do a bit of research to find the right ones. That said, the n97 is not one of them.

      @EffectualPoet not to talk down, but intel has genuinely has always made bad gpus and igpus, they're great for indoor home decoration and modeling, but it's because they're cpu's are their bread and butter.

      I think it's the H4+, which is same performance in theory as H4 but adds the SATA ports. I am hoping that's right.

    Petit regret que la carte H-4 ne soit pas sous le N-100 .
    Le plus c'est ce boitier GAMECUBE ,pas mal pour en faire une machine d'émulation .
    Qu'elle est la Qualité d'émulation pour la PS-2 ?
    sinon pour la PS-1 et la N-64 ce devrait le faire .

    It seems lile this is the same footprint as the hp mini pcs like the elitedesks that are puke a hundred bu ks for a amd version, seems like you could easily modify a gamecube model and 3d print it to fit a hp and have alot more power

    Also, that classic mini-cube design is just silly. Try finding a Noctua 4-pin 92mm x92mm x15mm fan ? -oh look, 'cause they do NOT exist. !!!
    Odroid/Hardkernel, should've made a proper MODERN mini-cube-case to fit the zillions of standard 4-pin 92mm x92mm x25mm Fans.

    id rather just buy the ASRock DeskMini X600 AM5 BArebone X600-STX with an even an 8600G would destroy this H4+ ... bu i have teh X600 DeskMini with 32GB Dual-Channel DDR5 6000 and Ryzen 8700G 8/16t CPU and Radeon RX 780m iGPU and yes it is a bit more expensive but alot smaller actually

      The deskmini will cost $500-$600 depending on parts. FYI, there are plenty of mini PCs on sale that meet or exceed the iGPU power of the desktop APUs for half the TDP. Deskmini is not what it once was; now it has a lot of competition.
