Great job. If you lay your panels closer together when you put the grey and dark grey in and run it across them all it will give the illusion that it was all cut from the same piece of “marble” and give a continuous flow down your drawers

    Hi,
I was looking for epoxy examples to do the top of my table. May i ask how much resin you used for only the top (not the drawers)?
And did the epoxy eventually stayed on the top? Someone said something about not using primer first so I'm wondering if the primer is necessary?
Thank you, this video helped me a lot 🙏

Hello! It was approximately a cup, 250 ml.

I did not use primer, it stays up to this day, no problem :)

@VolhaS Thank you🙏, I thought it would be more so I'm really happy that's it's not that much as I thought 😁.

@VolhaS Great, I spray painted my table the past 3 days and I'm not happy with the result so I think I'm going to try to make something beautiful with resin 🙃. Glad I don't have to prime it.

Hi what brand of colors do you use for the epoxy?

I added the paint and Mica powders. For the paint - it was simply acrylic paints - Apple Barrel, white and black. For the MICA powder, i dont have the brand name as it was bought long time ago for the silver one. but for the white shimmery - it was sample provided by merchant from the Epoxy resin purchase - www.krystalresin.com/shop

@@VolhaS thanks you have been quite helpful. I fabricate natural stone and work with expoxys daily. Your skill is remarkable of making it look like natural marble veining.

Should've spryed some isopropyl alcohol to soften the darker gray.
Good luck on whether or not the epoxy & paint chip off eventually since u didn't use primer first.
I would've used a hair dryer instead of a straw.
I would've use a Palm sander to get the hardened drips off. But if u use a pallette knife to scrape them off while they're still wet every 30-45 minutes, u wouldn't have to do all that.

    Can i use duck tape?

Not if u want adhesive stuck to the surface. Then you'll have to use acetone or denatured alcohol to remove the adhesive.
