Rip Jon , funny I wasn't a fan as such but now as you are buried by my dad I put roses on your grave regularly and I'm sat watching this because I hate seeing your grave bare the majority of the time ❤️
I have such fond memories of this song, polythene was my first album aged 7 - I was obviously a disturbed child, listening to ROCK haha. Then all those times in the park as a teenager playing this album over and over with my friends, GOOD TIMES!
Was on the barrier for the whole of Feeder and the Stereophonics sets tat Sunday. Always makes me glow when I hear this. Saw them at 06 aswell and it felt like watching a child grow up
gosh, in 1997 feeder was my favorite band because of this song. Today they are my favorite band because of a few more songs added from their catalog. But they were so awesome live back then
its basically put the capo on 2nd fret and basically play the exact same thing an octave up, then just play arpegios, but everytime you play the Cadd9 play the B as a pickup note, i hope im making sense to you..
@FeederGunsNRoses I've noticed that happens with a lot of singers over time. Don't forget he's like 43 (I think) and has been touring with feeder for 20 years. The schedule is bound to have an effect on your voice. On some singers it suits them and they sound better, with others it gets worse. I guess that's the way it is.
@@Dejfff23 As an avid PES 6 enjoyer to this day, I can confirm this. Also, Berger is fluctuating between a left winger/attacking mid - make of that what you will.
Oh my god such a great performance! Why doesn't grant sing like that anymore, or he doesn't seem to. He seemed to sing songs as they sounded when recorded.
Oskar Danvers-Watson in 2009 he suffered every singers worst nightmare bleeds on vocal cords. trust me im frontman of a band called Xplicighte and my dad was a frontman in a small time metal band. he was rendered unable to sing any of the songs after his vocal cords cried enough
I would say 29 because right after reading grant did suffocate single and he nailed it with a 💥. And I wish that they add the reworked version to the album then I would be very 😆.
yeah, I sometimes feel they kinda lost their energy. They were young and powerful, but now they're just different It's not necessarily good or bad though.

Such a shame: By the time of this performance, it looked like they were going to become the biggest rock band in the country - if only!!
Please remember JON LEE .🎵🥁🎤🎶🐉💜💜💜💜

Anyone else think that Jon looks like Patrick Berger (the striker)??
Maybe.. But Berger was a midfielder

First time I ever saw Feeder, this was.
Grant was 30 then .. and he was AWESOME !!!
just fucking amazing, my fav "live" ever
feeder have always dominated festivals were ever they go, its a pity they can't dominate the charts
I'm missing the old Feeder sound.
They were SOOOO great
Now they're just good ;-(
Love this version!! But does anyone have (or know where to find) the guitar tab for the intro/verse????
we'd all grow old.. can u imagine Grant is 41 year-old already?! my god.. he was 30 then!
I doubt you’ll see this, but I saw them the other night, and he’s 51 now!
Saw them last night and he hasn't aged. Absolutely 10/10 band.
Has anyone got the rest of this performance anywhere?
Hope they play this at Leeds 11 years aon... don't think they did in 2006.
Taka's first gold bass!
TheGalwayFarmer got to love the raw, early feeder - peroxide hair and all!
Oh I do!!
watching this straight after watching the same song performed at IOW 2012, It sounds exactly the same.
@SuperMegabar lol that made me laugh so hard. haha
How old is grant Nicholas in reading 1997
29 or 30?
29
29 or 30 😯 that to me that’s a really good dang year right there.
I would say 29 because right after reading grant did suffocate single and he nailed it with a 💥. And I wish that they add the reworked version to the album then I would be very 😆.
@@TheGalwayFarmer great age.
Jon....... (weep)
yeah, I sometimes feel they kinda lost their energy. They were young and powerful, but now they're just different

20 years ago today
a different jazzmaster there!
TheGalwayFarmer yeah, the other jazzmaster has block inlays
This one looks like a Japanese 90s model. He later changed the neck to a block one made by Combat
serious.. taka is seiously underrated...hes kickin ass on thebass..he needs better basslines now! his basslines frm polythene are kickkkass!
cant see johnny well
only from behind his back O:
Wonderful!
