[02-Jun-2010] Euro NCAP launched its website www.euroncap.com for the first time in two new languages: Dutch and French. Euro NCAP intends to release further languages Catalan, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish and the Swedish in the following months. Euro NCAP also releases the results for three new cars: the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, BMW 5-series and the Mazda CX-7. Of these three cars, the BMW 5 series achieved the highest result in pedestrian protection with a respectable 78%. The car has an active bonnet, so that when a pedestrian is struck, the bonnet is lifted from its position as a result, creating more space to absorb the energy that usually results in injury. The BMW 5 series also scored 100% in Safety Assist as the car has electronic stability control fitted as standard, seatbelt reminders in the front and rear, as well as a driver set speed limitation device. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is equipped with a reactive seat and head restraint offering good protection.

I bought my wife one of these for Valentine's Day new in 2010 cause she wanted it.. We still have it with 60,000mi on it with no problems.. I defiantly put it up there with our Toyota and Honda we had.. Great car
Is it the turbo version? If so how bad is it leaking right now?

I bought one in 2010 as well, now has 85.000 Km (roughly 58K miles) and besides suggestd maintenance at 20.000, 40.000 and 60.000 (oil, filters, brake pads, liquids) I have only changed a few lightbulbs....mainly because here in Italy the law obliges us to travel with full lights on during daytime too, even in August witha blinding sun and 40* C... :-)

My CX-7 has 6 in the front cockpit and 2 lateral ones for the rear passengers.

Only mazda is I love among the other manufacturers, mazda can give quality more than any japanese car, toyota and Honda is ridiculous, why are people keep buying toyota and Honda cars those brand always came out with their old engine or chassis there no upgrade...
To some extend I agree! I was looking for Honda Crv's, Rav4's, I became desperate and even tried to find an old Nissan Patrol🤦♂️😂😂😂,but It's an off road vehicle, and I want slick,hench and reliable vehicle, with strong engine and transmission!I've seen enough from Toyota and Honda here, they keep their price so high... For the money I have, I can't buy a Rav4 even 15 years old second hand, or a CRV,. I am left with Ford(ughh not a fan) and Mazda! Overall I think I will not have problems with the engine,without turbo ofc, and the room and interior is fabulous for the money! I'VE SEEN Mazdas with well over 300,000miles still running decent and the interior was like new.

ГАВНО,а не машина.Жрет масло как бегемот.Хоть и маленький обьем но жрет бенз ведрами
@@Человек-э4ш масло буквально нюхает. Бенз жрет 12-14 литров в городе. Не особо-таки много, мой прошлый i40 жрал 10 и все говорили, что он его якобы нюхает. Люди просто начали как стадо повторять, хотя этой маздой даже не пользовались. На топливо в месяц трачу 8к. i40 жрал 6-7к.
@@Xenodify бро, повезло тебе ездить на 2,5 переднем приводе, есть неудачники которые взяли себе 2.3 на турбе на полном приводе, с прямым впуском, с фазовращателями и заправляют 18-22 литра. Пока писал чуть не заплакал(

Я так понимаю чем больше радиус колеса, тем больше оно смягчает удар.
Тем больше оно заходит в салон, на уазе переделывали краш тест авто ревью тк в хорошей комплектации шли 17 диски и с большим аппетитом кривили днище!

I seriously doubt that, as Japan has it's own booming steel industry (produces more from a lower population than the US) so why they would have imported steel from the US is baffling. But the whole "Japan has radioactive steel" is a bunch of bullshit as well
I know this is 9 years ago, but it's probably because at the time mazda and ford had a partnership and they supplied eachother with parts and research.
