My favorite lube to use from Kinetic Labs (affiliate):
The hair at the end made my perfectionist mad...
Is it me or does it sound the same
Thanks for showing a before and after. Other videos I’ve watched don’t give a comparison so I never knew if it makes a difference. It did have a more smooth sound effect afterwards
Wow, that looks like a pretty high entrance costs. Actually all you need is some lube and brush. Even openere isn't necessary, but it's the first thing I would buy after lube+brush. :)
Her voice is so soothing
Love ur asian accent
The "before" sound was absolutely UNHOLY.
I might be tone deaf because it doesn’t sound any different
I have the most unethical way of lubing. I open the switch with a flat head screwdriver and open it. I grab the spring and using my trumpet slide lube, i roll the lube and spring around my fingers. I then lube the sides of the switch and then close it. Works fine
Wait u have to do the top😭
Last year I built an ortho 75 key and wanted to try lubing my switches. Didn't know that lube stations were a thing, so I did each one individually holding each piece with tweezers and putting them back together the same. It took about 6 hours.
Help, I used the wrong kind of lube and now my switch is pregnant
My friend is so smart he 3d printed a lube station at digital tech since he’s getting into custom keyboards
Damn that's just too much work but the sound at the end is compelling
I absolutely love mechanical keyboards but given how clumsy I am, I could never see myself doing this
My brain try to ignore the hair with LUBE STATION
you voice sounds so sweet ❤
ty this helped alot!
I will need to wait till I move next year to even consider building my own keyboard. I don't have space right now in my tiny accommodation
