Right now LV has increased the price of vachetta replacement and now it costs over $1000 to get full replacement. It’s worth mentioning to buy pieces where you don’t plan to repair it because it would be better to just buy a piece in better condition.

No no no never a bad idea LOL... I guess it's easier for me to say as I do restore them and I can sell them for more than I paid if I want... If it makes you happy and you are not bankrupting yourself or using your children's college funds then go for it....
It's an investment and you can always sell it to recoup the money when needed. Why do people buy gold, silver, and other gems. As investments. I don't have a problem reselling because I work for a large healthcare center full of girls and what do girls love best, purses.
