  • This vlog is about the philips series 3000 which is an affordable rechargeable razor from philips. It works well even though it is affordable and also good buddy when traveling. Philips products can be bought anywhere, I bought this at canadian tire with a discounted price. You will also see at the testing part that i also compared it to my philips series 5000. you will also see here how to clean the razor heads/blades

    Thank you for the review. Is the body of the shaver rubberized at all for a good grip?

      some parts have rubber texture like both side under the rotary where you will place your thumb

    This shaver sucks. I've come to realize they're putting tiny motors in these so the blades spin slow. Apparently this helps some people with razor burn, and it helps make the razor quieter. Unfortunately for the rest of us we just end up with a cheaply made tool that takes forever to shave with. Initially I bought a Braun but those blades spin extremely slow also so I returned it to buy this Philips. I simply cannot shave with this anymore because it takes so long. I don't even have much facial hair, and I can't even grow a beard. I'm just trying to shave the whiskers that grow on my cheeks and chin and it still takes way too long.

      Which one you suggest that can trim and can shave every hair completely?

  • @raz7864
    @raz7864 Рік тому +3

    Does it leave the skin as the razor does or is more sandpaper?

    • @GePete
      @GePete  Рік тому +4

      Its same as razor.

    I have the 3333 variation of this and the shaving head covers rotate along with the blades. Is that normal?

    • @GePete
      @GePete  6 місяців тому

      only blades moves, hair goes thru small screens of cover then the rotating blade cut the hair, if cover which separates your skin from the blade is rotating, how will the hair go inside? or theres a chance that less hair will go inside because of that moving cover

    • @nvmffs
      @nvmffs 6 місяців тому

      @@GePete You're right, it turned out it had a crooked blade which was stuck in one of the cover holes and that was causing it to rotate along.
      I thought it was some kind of a revolutionary invention that shaves twice quicker lol

    Why is this series better/ more expensive over the other Philips same type of shavers?

    • @GePete

      Maybe because of the installed trimmer

    • @GePete

      though 3000 have trimmer, 5000 feels premium for me. i like the slim handle of 5000, its like easier to maneuver

    its have same result for series 3100 and series 5000?

    • @GePete
      @GePete  2 роки тому +3

      the philips series 3000 that I used here have better result because my series 5000 is 3 years old, blades are dull already. Series 5000 is slim which makes it more ergonomic to use.

      5minutes for using it? if too much facial hair, it will really take time to use any electric shaver. maybe too much hair got stuck inside.

    • @ChoJun69
      @ChoJun69 3 місяці тому

      electric shavers are not meant to shave the full beard, its more like shave every few days or if you're still young once a week beard and that's it.
