Can you recommend a book on this beautiful art form? Every rock I have ever collected has reminded me of an aerial view of mountains or cliff sides. Nothing as perfect as in your video .
No, I'm sorry I don't know any books on this subject but you might search your local library. I've only learned about viewing stones from attending local exhibitions in the Los Angeles area (LA County Arboretum in Arcadia, CA, and Huntington Gardens in San Marino, CA.) I strongly recommend attending these types of exhibitions. They are very inspiring examples of nature!
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a good book on this topic. However, I do note that Amazon has a few books on "viewing stones" or "suiseki". But there are a number of good UA-cam videos on viewing stones. Here's one that I recorded at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on "Korean-American viewing stones": ua-cam.com/video/Nltps_QSPNQ/v-deo.html
Highly recommend book Suiseki: The Asian Art of Beautiful Stones by author Willi Benz. Great introduction, overview and history of the art. Explains all about the different classifications and what is desirable in a stone, proper display techniques, the art of the wood bases, and a step-by-step tutorial of how to work with them. Beautiful color pictures throughout.
Wow hasn't Jehovah God given us such beauty even the rocks yes even the rocks under our feet shout out his glory like all his creation

What is the stone at 9:34? Looks too dark to be a Jasper but MAN what a beautiful colour!
I didn't know that there was a Suiseki in America.
I think the display stone is also wonderful.
Красота!!!😍😍😍
