  • Great Leaders have their people’s backs.
I’ve never met a good leader that didn’t care about and support their team. Does that mean a leader needs to be pollyanna’s that don’t address poor performance or behaviour? Of course not - clear and honest is kind and professional.
But if they don’t stand up and stand with their people then they’ll never build the trust to get the best performance and allow their people to be innovative, creative and do their best work.
I worked with a leader yesterday who needs to deliver some difficult feedback to an employee - their question to me wasn’t about will I or won’t I but how can i?
Not all leaders know how to do this well, so if you’re an executive and you want your managers and leaders to step up and create accountability, responsibility and results then you will want to invest in training them to make this shift.
Don’t have time to train them yourself? I can help. Then reach out and say g’day, let’s chat and see how I can take the frustration and lag time out of shifting your managers from good to great.
