- Meet Imran, he is a nice guy with a nicer car. How it got that nice is something of a story. See he wanted AWD and set out to convert his Volvo C30 into an awd Sti devouring monster. Well to get AWD he needed a donor car, so he got one. Thing is that donor car is now his girlfriend's... You know what they say," All's fair in Love and AWD conversions."

Swedish racing green and rebel blue are two different colours. Swedish racing green is what polestar painted their race cars in.

MTE made one C30R AWD with a widebody kit back in 2012 was it? A Red Beast with both Turbo and supercharger.
I believe it was in 2013. Not US street legal tho. But absolutely ridiculous that car of his.

Too bad that the crisis 2009 stopped the C30R, and instead Volvo pushed out the DrivE cars.... Talked to a guy who worked at Volvo with projects, he drove the C30r, 350hp with AWD and a lot of carbon pieces... he said u could take corners crazy fast and it was like on rails...
Why did Volvo never put out the concept car to the public they should’ve it was a great car!!!
Way too expensive for it to be a profitable venture. Plus with the end of the Ford ownership, they were developing new platforms to go forward with.
Stop hating on the autos, I live right in rockland county ny and all my auto c30 has is a intake and an elevate multi fuel file so I run e50 and I would run your manual car any day if you want! Don’t get me wrong I wish mine was manual but don’t hate the autos

C30 Polestar was a factory AWD, so you are wrong by saying it did not come AWD in any form. It did, even though as a limited edition.
You are wrong. The Polestar Concept was not a factory car nor was it production. They built it to show Volvo what their company can do. Plus it was not a C30 technically because it used V50 electronics therefore took on the v50 vin electronically. So volvo never produced a c30 awd. Nothing to argue.

Many times the angle gear fails on these cars causing driveshaft rear damage. It was one of the cons of owning these 2004 volvos.
@@MikoMuru I know, but I dont think that has anything to do with being more useable. Haha
Once the awd swap was done the s40 had no driveline. So they took the old driveline from the c30 to make it a usable car again.
