KiwiRail on the Midland Line - Spring 2023 (4K)

On the 17th of November we spent a day on the Scenic Midland line seeing both passenger and freight services.
We start of with chasing DXC 5454 and DFB 7199 on train 803 (The Tranz Alpine) which is one of the three KiwiRail Scenic Journeys trains. We follow the Tranz Alpine from Springfield to Greymouth before chasing train 826 from Kokiri to Cass
Sit back and enjoy the sounds of the aging DX class working one of New Zealand's most scenic lines
