I just found your channel and this was the first video I saw. I loved it. I then proceeded to binge watch 4 more!! What i like the most are the tents and the fact that you actually show us using the various tents. So many videos the tent magically appears and disappears. There is no sense what it is like inside. I use to camp back in the 80's and 90's ,can't now due to health. I so wish we had some of your equipment 30 years ago. I look forward to more of your videos. I will enjoy ",tenting" ( which is what we use to call camping), thru you.

American Werewolf in London...what a great reference! I saw it for the first time in downtown Seattle my senior year at UW. Hi Chris, great video as always, thanks for sharing to both of you. Great trip all round. Ah, American Werewolf in London, fantastic classic film. Recall a distant memory of watching that film with a couple of mates one afternoon when we were about 15. It was coming to the final few days at school and we went around at a mates house to sample a few of his dads beers and spirit collection completely without his knowledge of course. Watched American werewolf having a beer and got to the “shower scene” when one of our number suffered an inadvertent accidental unplanned boner just as the precise time the hosts mum came around and caught us bunking off school! It’s occasions like that that are hard to forget, as of course are the mad tent bound hysterics you have shared on this one mate! All the best, Paul
Beware the moors...!!! ‐ Brilliant! Top drawer chaps - we both thought it was hilarious ‐ good to see a different part of the world too ‐ keep em coming ‐ T 🙂
Great vid lads, obviously hope you get pole replaced, but actually that pole will be ok, sometimes when the pole bends, it hardens ....it is called work hardening....it won’t be as flexible but you can easy live with it. Take a repair ferrule if your worried but I have a few tents with bends in the poles and they’ve been like that for years. The worst thing you can do is try to bend it back. ATB 👍
Thanks for the tip, I'm still waiting for Nordisk to get back to me. I suppose my issue is, first proper use, in not really bad conditions and it's bent a pole. It's a 900 quid tent, billed as 3 season, so not sure that should happen.
Loved this Chris! Smiling all the way through it. Had several interruptions as boys wanted fed (selfish😝) but eventually settled down for a proper watch with Mrs B. We were both obsessed with that rock where you pitched up. Looked a blast of a night. Sure you can get that pole sorted. Am away with my Nordisk tomorrow night for a solo and hope to get my filming back up n' running. Great vid though Chris. Good laughs, and without that, what's the point? 😂
Good man Craig, thanks for watching - was a good laugh and yeah, I'm sure the pole will get sorted out. Thanks for watching and have a great camp yourself. ATB mate

Been looking forward to this one after your insta stories haha... that wind looked relentless but looks like you had a real good crack so all good. Nice one!!
Hi mate, the wind never gave up for the entire time and got worse around 0200 - was worried about filming too much of the same stuff, so had to call it a day in the end. ATB mate
Werewolf in London, Jenny Agutter shower scene!!! For people of a certain age that was quality. That spooky face outside the tent. Now you know why the wife left me.
a real good test. good to see where UL has it's limits^^ since you may need a new pole now, get a second set. if the pole sleeves accept two - that will hold whatever comes at it. And now I'll join in and have a beer. and subscribe, before I forget it.
Cool film. I think I know that location (local-ish) and have walked that way a few times. I have considered it as a potential wild-camp spot but know that the adjacent moors are grouse moors and I've had run ins with the keepers in the past, slashed tyres, etc. Cheers, Chris
@@MCMOutdoors excellent video mate, love the lads banter. Bummer about the pole. It's a minor bend, if you use a vice you could possibly straighten it out, but the poles integrity will probably be affected.
How do they get all the weird flavours in IPAs, like marshmallow for example? Is it all artificial flavourings like what they use in e-liquids? A bit apprehensive about these unless my assumptions are wrong. Great video once again.
Hi. I just bought a Oppland 2 LW on the back of your videos. Had it up in the garden yesterday - seems lovely. Question on the footprint - have you managed to connect it to the tent for an all-in-one pitch? I had a play yesterday but can’t work out the best place to attach it. Ideally want to be able to do the whole lot in one go when it chucking it down. Thanks.
Not found a way for this mate - I did that with the Telemark, but I actually. Prefer it how it was ie separate, for a more taught footprint. Also, if you nail the footprint, you know you have the right room for the actual tent mate! Cracking shelter
“He built a pub in his back garden, got bladdered and could barely speak by the end of the film “ 😂😂😂. I saw that film and thought he was smashed at the end too 😂😂😂
Really enjoyed that, some good laughs in it, he’s clearly a massive blue. His reg is efc and all his kit is blue, how the hell did you get him to camp in a red tent 😂
Hi Guys, entertaining video ! Out of curiosity did the guys come pre-assembled ? Looks possibly like something weird going on with the tensioner set up and guy line routing ( maybe why you bent a pole ) ? A

😂😂😂🤣 Great story mate - it's a great film. Was a good overnighter mate, good laugh and good company. Thanks for watching.
Beware the moors...!!! ‐ Brilliant! Top drawer chaps - we both thought it was hilarious ‐ good to see a different part of the world too ‐ keep em coming ‐ T 🙂
Thanks for watching Tony, was a nice camp out
Great vid lads, obviously hope you get pole replaced, but actually that pole will be ok, sometimes when the pole bends, it hardens ....it is called work hardening....it won’t be as flexible but you can easy live with it.
@@MCMOutdoors 100% agree, hope you get it sorted, big test for Nordisk .......here's hoping that they come good👍👍👍👍
Loved this Chris!
ATB mate
Fantastic video guys cant wait for the next one xx
Thanks for watching Laura 👍🍻
REALLY enjoyed this video, I love inside the tent content xxx
Thanks for watching - we arrived very late for this one so struggled a bit for content....... eeked out what we could. Thanks for watching. Chris & Walshy
Great video lads, big grey boot outside the tent :) I'd be in the bag with the hood up 🤣
Thanks for watching Keith - some great scrambling and bouldering to be had there. ATB ! Chris & Walshy
That was some rough wind, good upload Chris.
Alright mate, it certainly picked up in the end. Thanks for watching mate and ATB
Great video, miss camping in storms in my Vango force 10.
Thanks for watching
Cheddar and Chianti doing it right lads. Werewolf in London cult classic and Patrick, what can you say bloody legend.
Mr Dickinson is indeed a legend! Thank you for watching - it's a great film, maybe not ideal before camping out on the moors. ATB
The two of together made this an awesome video ❤️ Florida
Glad you enjoyed it!
ATB mate
Cracking content..... you look like a weird magician 😂😂
Haha, he did though. Was good fun, cracking time - what it's all about. ATB
Great video as always lads. Good advice too 👍
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. ATB
Werewolf in London, Jenny Agutter shower scene!!! For people of a certain age that was quality. That spooky face outside the tent. Now you know why the wife left me.
I know that scene haha! Great film - the intro is brilliant, loses it's way toward the end I find. Thanks for watching Peter. ATB
Cheese, wine and Roy Cropper, a classic episode of MCM 🤣🤣🤣
Yes mate, harks back to the early days that one doesn't it! Was a great time. ATB mate
Really enjoyed gents. Thanks for the great content!
Thanks for watching mate
a real good test. good to see where UL has it's limits^^ since you may need a new pole now, get a second set. if the pole sleeves accept two - that will hold whatever comes at it.
And now I'll join in and have a beer. and subscribe, before I forget it.
Thanks for the sub - appreciate it! Good choice re the beer! Hope you're enioy the channel mate.
ABSOLUTE PRIX got me again with the ghosty shit 😂😂😂👍
Haha, thanks for watching Kev 👍
@@MCMOutdoors brilliant ✌️
Brilliant film. Absolutely hilarious 🤣
Thanks for watching ⛺👍
Looked a great camp . well done mate
Great time had mate - thanks for watching
Canny windy like GOOD FUN
Decent little test for the tent!
Nice one mate, huge tent there. A shame it didn’t quite hold up, Simon
Great to have all that room during bad weather. Thanks for watching
no problems mate
Completely mad! Cheese looked good, try Shropshire Blue cheese next time. Great video!
Thanks for watching Christine 🍻👍
Cool film. I think I know that location (local-ish) and have walked that way a few times. I have considered it as a potential wild-camp spot but know that the adjacent moors are grouse moors and I've had run ins with the keepers in the past, slashed tyres, etc. Cheers, Chris
Thanks for watching Chris 👍⛺
On cnicht last night, supposed to be nice, well wild and wet! Great vid and topical!
Thanks for watching Stephen, hope you had a great camp in Wales
Great vid mate👍
Thanks JD - glad you enjoyed. ATB - Chris
Looks like a lot of time in the tent!
It was unfortunately, but that's just how this one played out with the weather and limited hours of daylight. Thanks for watching
great vid. reminds me of times with my mate
Best memories I bet mate - nice one. Thank you for watching. Chris
good head room that tent
Immense isn't it!
"I'm a strong man, but that's haaard" - Chris, 2020.
Could go down in history as an all time top quote! Then again, maybe I need to get down the gym. Thanks for watching Mike.
@@MCMOutdoors excellent video mate, love the lads banter. Bummer about the pole. It's a minor bend, if you use a vice you could possibly straighten it out, but the poles integrity will probably be affected.
Reminded me of Michael Caine in Get Carter.... " you're a big man but you're out of shape, I do this for a living!"
How do they get all the weird flavours in IPAs, like marshmallow for example? Is it all artificial flavourings like what they use in e-liquids? A bit apprehensive about these unless my assumptions are wrong. Great video once again.
Not sure mate, I think they're brewed with the actual ingredients to be fair - thanks for watching.
Mate ,that is my sort of camping, love a drop of red ,and cheese
Doesn't have to be roughing it does it 👍 thanks for watching 👍
Great video guys.
Thanks Jack 👍⛰️
@@MCMOutdoors thanks for the reply. Nordisk came back to me and said no way other than to botch it. I'll have a go with it separate.
“He built a pub in his back garden, got bladdered and could barely speak by the end of the film “ 😂😂😂. I saw that film and thought he was smashed at the end too 😂😂😂
Class wasn't it. Love Patrick 👍
MCM Outdoors You’re right mate, he is a legend. The Fred Dibnah of wild camping 👍🏻
Here we go! Time to grab a brew ☕️
Enjoy
Ha great vid guys, whatever you do don’t watch The werewolf film ‘Dog Soldiers’, wild camping in Scotland will never be the same ever again lol
Thanks for watching Paul - another video to add to the list I guess! ATB 🍻👍
@@MCMOutdoors 👍
Ace as always mukka james 👌
Thanks James
Really enjoyed that, some good laughs in it, he’s clearly a massive blue. His reg is efc and all his kit is blue, how the hell did you get him to camp in a red tent 😂
Good observations Rob! He is a big fan of EFC, but he would still prefer to kip in a red tent than out in the cold :-)
@@MCMOutdoors 🤣🤣👍
Great vid lads. Did you reach out to Nordisk about the bend pole? Did they send you a new or what? Cheers from DK 😃🌄🏕️
Hi there, yes they were great - they've sent a new set of poles - couldn't have been more helpful 👍👍👏
Great outdoors with a touch of ipa. And chinati winę : )
Thanks for watching Carlos 👍
Hi Guys, entertaining video ! Out of curiosity did the guys come pre-assembled ? Looks possibly like something weird going on with the tensioner set up and guy line routing ( maybe why you bent a pole ) ? A
Hi Andrew, the guys came like that and we had it set up according to the instructions. I'll see what Nordisk say.
nice camp out there lads, good tent bit too pricey for me though, how do you find the fjallraven? gear could you do a review in the future
Thanks mate - I love the Fjallraven gear - it's is very well made and durable. If you mean the Anorak I'm wearing, there is a review mate, just scroll down quite a few videos and you'll find it.
I'll have to make a review on their Vidda Pro trousers and also the ventilated version. Will last many years.
Anyone else get scared when the face came up?! Maybe it’s only me 😂
What face!?! 😱
Cheers lads great video
Thanks for watching Garry, glad you enjoyed it
Hi pal great video as always... Just wondering if you're familiar with the lightwave sigma sg10 single skin tent or do you know someone who is thinking about getting it not sure it's 600 quid cheers sammy
Hi mate, thanks for watching! Sadly not - you getting one?
@@MCMOutdoors I've got it at the top of my shortlist, I'm planing a few long distance hikes.. But it's like the saying if somethings too good to be true and all that 🤔🤔 cheers atb sammy
Go with your gut instinct mate - hope it works out OK 👍
Wow subs going up fast now 👍👍👌
Btw got that millican Fraser you reviewed. Found a great deal from LD mountain ctr online , cheers Chris
Getting there!
Top bag that - really well made, a bag for life - brilliant.
Quality lads 👌🏼 ATB
Thanks 👍 glad you enjoyed it.
