Superbowl 9 (Steelers vs Vikings, 1/12/75) was the first one played at a college stadium: Tulane Stadium, Louisiana. The Superdome wasn't finished yet. Johnny Unitas was also from Pittsburgh. Played against Namath in Superbowl 3 more than 12 years before Marino vs Montana. That was the first time two Pittsburgh native QBs played against each other in the Superbowl. Western Pennsylvania football sets the standards.
