Rocky in that guitar tears it fucking up! I love watching that dude play. He always looks SO DAMN HAPPY when he is shredding. He knows how badass he is.
Started as a hardcore band, then kept going more and more metal as they went along. These songs still are dope after all these years and def bring back memories for me. Also rocky george is a beast
ST is classic 80s/90s skater metal..... and he's always deep with the lyrics--they are one of my favorite bands from that era and they are still putting out albums.
This was my first real concert- this tour. They were selling their own merch so I got to meet the singer and guitarist. I was a tiny 11yo, so I eventually was up on my brothers shoulders when ST started and it got crazy. Fond memories.
Been waiting for this one, especially with the couple of Infectious Grooves reactions you have done Teez. This is the main band for the lead singer of Infectious Grooves. He formed that band during a break up of Suicidal Tendencies. I knew you would dig this and I will definitely send you another Suicidal song in my next requests. Suicidal Tendencies, along with Metallica and Megadeth were my 3 go to bands as a teenager.
This is when they went from a punk band to a metal band, but you can still hear that punk thing still here. Now they're full on metal, but they changed over at the PERFECT time for all us of punk kids to have to respect what was happening to the band, honestly. I loved this album. Bought it the week it came out.
i came here from a HC group in Facebook, not disappointed! I know you reacted to madball also... gotta check that one also! Finally someone that reacts to hardcore! Thank you for this!
Saw Suicidal open for Metallica. Not too long before that many venues had banned Suicidal because apparently there were always fights at their shows. I believe they had a lot of friends from Venice Beach area gangs. They were awesome live though. But of course, Metallica live was something else.
Yes! You do Zappa, beasties and now this! (Suicidal and AIC was my first concert experience) Pleez Teez, check out grinderman, heathen child official vid or better kitchenette RAK sessions.. cheers mate.
lol, Funny. My mom sent me to counseling because she found a notebook of mine with these lyrics written out. I loved this album, but it earned me a couple of hours of ridiculous talk when I was just being a teenager.
Suicidal doesn't get enough love. Can't bring me down is one of my favorite songs ever written.
If Teez thought this one was aggressive, wait til he hears that one lol.
omfg. i cannot believe someone asked you to react to Suicidal Tendencies. saw them live in the 80s, in CA, cause I was a legit little punk teenager.

He is an absolute machine, one of the most underrated metal lead guitar players.
1985. I was 9. My boy Billy (RIP) had this rickety half pipe in the backyard. We’d ride al day listening to Suicidal... good times...

Rocky is one of the most underrated guitarists ever. The man just shreds.
Rocky is phenomenal!!!!! And Mike Clark wrote hella riffs!

The clock keeps ticking while nothing else seems to change
Problems never solved, just rearranged
One of my favourite lyrics of all time.

Rocky George shining on guitars, the best!

Brings back memories of my punk rock teen years. 80s punk west coast style.
I messaged Bob Heathcote of Suicidal Tendencies last year... he agreed to sign my vinyl of this! thanks Bob!
Man, I had this album on tape.
Their song Nobody Hears was the first track I had ever heard by ST. My older brother showed me back in the early 90’s.
Institutionalized!!!!!
Suicidal Tendencies-- WAKING THE DEAD
killer track! Just do it!
Went through a period when this was my favorite stuff. Saw the open for Jane's Addiction in Miami. Maybe 1990
Who here still has their Suicidal Tendencies hat?
Bill flipped up!
ME!!!! MUCH LOVE, HOMES!
@@anthonybilello3160 That's right, my guy!
Mine is a Powell ratbones hat, bill flipped up, lightning styled ST letters in pen... it's now 33 yrs old. Couldn't afford a real ST hat back then.
Probably my favorite ST song. Most days, this shit is pretty much my unofficial theme song.
Suicidal for life baby. Any fan of this band or anyone giving them a shot is okay by me.🤜🤛💪✌️🤘
"Lovely" is a GREAT song! You would like it much!

Rocky George at his best. One of my favorite players, KILLING that Ibanez. Loved the reaction. Suicidal For Life! Peace!
This is one of those albums you should do all the way through, either a reaction or on your own.
Seconded. This album and Lights, Camera...Revolution were life changing for me essentially.lol
@@KickflipGnasty YES LAWD! My first tat is ST. Was a big influence for me. Many of the songs mirrored my predicaments.
