"Iron Man" Drum Lesson Breakdown - Time Stamps Included
0:53 - We go over what we'll be covering for this drumming breakdown
1:33 - The drum comes in with a quick drum roll that we go into detail here
2:07 - We teach you how to do a rocking high hat which helps to give it an accented note pattern that goes loud/soft and switches so that one is quieter and one is louder
3:17 - We breakdown the next drum beat after the high hat section
4:23 - If the rocking high hat seems a little weird, you can switch it up until you practice it some more
5:58 - After finishing the last part, this next drum pattern comes next
10:10 - We break down the last half of the roll and the last 4th set

After the first chorus the drummer is using what sounds like some sort of tambourine. Any idea exactly what he’s using? Is it a tambourine snare or a drum pedal tambourine?

Your vids a really great but you waste sooooo much time. Don’t tell people what ghost notes and rocking high hats and flams and all the other shit are because if they don’t know they’re definitely not experienced enough to play it anyway. And the way you run through simple rhythms and fills up to 20x is so annoying. Play it two or three times. If I still need to listen to it I’ll back the video up. And I swear to god if you make another video including how to count in four measures or whatever I’ll throw my phone.
