We save £40/month for school, one kid and it just about does what we need. One child in secondary school. We use it for stationary as well and small school trips.

I’m looking at the budget and Ira being appalled at $65 a month for a phone. In the US I pay $90 a month for just me, no phone payment added. I thought it was a great price.
I'm always annoyed when you see an ad/commercial and it shows a great price then you realize its a "family" plan and its for 4 lines at that price (great price X4)! I don't have 3 others I just have me! 😃
Talking from an Irish point of view. Most phone bills are that high. It is ridiculously expensive. I've family in the UK and they get their family plan for the cost of 1 phone here.. Also please keep Budget Bestie here cant afford Patreon just now ❤️
By the look of it she's on disability / unemployment Ben hence the low water rent and council tax could be wrong but thats what it looks like to me ❤ no judgement etc just thought I'd give the reason for possibly the low amounts ❤
Also Internet is possibly a social tarriff. Deffo worth looking into everything your entitled to when your income is low because you tend not to be told about half of the stuff available to you

Love Budget Bestie. I would maybe cut the vacation fund in half and have 50 to go to an Emergency Fund, for any unexpected expenses. I really hope people take your advice, as it can really help. Also, maybe her phone bill includes paying on a new phone as well??❤
