Wow people are rude. If you watch any of her videos, you would know she doesn't hate on "cheap products." She uses a lot of drugstore makeup and brushes. She was just saying the sponges that come in quads are low quality....because they are.
The sponges that come in the BareMinerals Ready eyeshadow palettes are actually good. 🙂

It's so interesting to see the brush collections of people that will sometimes just wear powder foundation versus the brushes of those that wear exclusively liquid foundation.

Sponge tip applicators are great for laying down /packing on shadow on your eyelid with no fall out. I learned that from quite a few professional makeup artists!
You have THE Best beauty tutorials around. Down to earth, you post the products you use -name brand and drugstore and you are not afraid to show the real you -Keep them coming, forget the negative vibes.

I LOVE everything from IT cosmetics! Especially their brushes! I also have the same two brushes you have shown and i totally agree they are amazing. They have the best brushes out there. You should try their flat top kabuki foundation brush, its just like the Sigma F80 but better! If you purchase on QVC that brush comes free with the Celebration powder foundation compact which is also amazing! You should try it, its only like around $32.

Rarely comment, but just wanna say: I watch a lot of makeup gurus, and you are one of the most beautiful ones, if not the most beautiful. I've watched quite a bit of your videos, and you are always interesting, and never annoying. You seem down to earth. You look good with or without makeup, and the looks you create are polished and on point. Plus you are smart, confident, funny, and quite articulate. Obviously a lot of people write hateful or rude comments to try and put you down, probably because they are not secure with themselves. So just ignore the haters and keep up the good energy!

I actually really like the little sponge applicators that come with eyeshadow quads in the drugstore.. but only for packing on color on the lid. But hey, they are good for at least something! lol
The tiny little eye makeup sponges that come in palettes -- they're great for packing a color on your lids or brow bone. Sometimes better than a brush because the dispense so much product directly onto your skin. I still use lots of other brushes, but the sponges are definitely still usable. And yes, I'm a makeup artist, but en before I was in the field I used them for he same purpose. Don't diss something just because you didn't pay a lot of money for it.
