No, two Chinese judges were caught over scoring Sui Wenjing and Han Cong and underscoring Savchenko and Massot even though Wenjing and Han made a few mistakes

Both of their jumping passes had flaws, their spin was level 2 ( even level 3 would be enough for a gold) one of their lift was level 3, their twist was also level 3. Out of that 5 mistakes 1 less mistake was more than enough for a gold. that’s how much better than anyone they were. I hope they win a gold at home olympics. On the other hand Aliona deserved to finish with Olympic gold
Mariam Rus the german team had just 38 point in SP when i remember it correct. so without their mistaken they would have been over 40 points as well. which means the chinese need more then one mistake less in FP
Larissa If they actually got a higher score (82.39 vs WR 84.17) for their short, they would have won. They lost by .43. The German made one mistake in the SP while the Chinese made 5 in the LP. I’m glad Aliona got her gold, I also hope Sui and Han can get one in Beijing.

I love the performance of Aljona Savchenko / Bruno Massot of Germany in the 2018 Olympics better. They are the best in technical skills and artistic performance. They also have the most beautiful program. That's why the Germans got a score of 159.31 in the Olympic long program, 6+ points higher than the Chinese' score of 152+. Their very high 159.31 score was even corroborated in the Worlds competition the following month when they got 162.8 in the finals. Sui/ Han are good figure skaters but Savchenko / Massot are the best.
