The only crime of the show is that this full opening doesn't play for all the episodes, it's so good!
NETFLIX OPENING PROBLEM.
HBO should show the way.
i guess its a binge model format nowadays. Fallout show released today and it doesnt even have an opening, just a logo shown each episode for 10 seconds, very similar to 3 body problem with its short intro snippet.
Couldn't agree more. I really like this theme and it's not even that long but they still cut it short. I'd never skip it so what gives
another thing is the vr headset which looks like a metal diaper
Bring back the full opening in every episode
yeh I wondered why they cut it in the following episodes instead of just having the "skip intro" button. It's a great opening sequence.
@@metadaemon I like the three suns appearing over that piano sequence, give me a massive sense of dread
Nah, I preferred it as is, so I don’t have to reach for the remote to skip the intro. They did the same for Avartar: The Last Air Bender live-action intro as well. Imagine watching a less impressive four elements intro on every single episode.
@@Mangolitethe avatar intro was different tho. this is an opening. not an avatar 4 element monologue.
@@elricthethridelricthethird8964 Even with some of the best intro, such as “Severance” and “Silo,” both on Apple TV +, I still skip them. After a while, I don’t want to be over-saturated with it to make it detestable for future enjoyment.
Listening to this feels like the funeral of humanity.
Watch it in 2D
The moment mankind entered into the galactic stage is the moment we have prepped ourselves into our funeral.
Our Universe is a Dark Forest.
Or the whole universe
@@rogueascendant6611😭
3BP is the first book in the "Remembrance of Earth's Past" trilogy so the tone that's set by the books probably inspired what we're listening to
Me " The music is awesome...Who composed it?
* Name of Ramin Djawadi appears on the screen*
" Ok now I understand"
Same thoughts
Game of Thrones 💕
ah westworld
Yeah. But it is not the best work. Westworld and GOT are much better. Music.
It’s very much giving west world game of thrones sifi vibes
Westworld vibes while listening to this opening credits music. God, I miss that show so much.
Yes, I was thinking Westworld meets The Expanse in overall feel.
Same composer
It's Ramin Djawadi who made the opening, soo
Westworld needs the ending it deserves. Big time !!
I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing regarding WESTWOOD.
the visuals is telling the story: people on earth are enjoying their lifes, while SanTi are surrounded by 3-body, suffering eveyday
One of the worst things about this show is that they still call them the "三体" instead of sticking to the english translation which is "trisolarians"
sounds like skill issue to me
It's isn't just enjoying life, they show 2 humans having sex... which is one of the key component of the Dark Forest Theory, 'expansion'.
@@franky1650not skill issue bruh they are Getting constantly wiped out by those 3 star in close range.. So development is slow in there planet Comparison to humans and earth
With their technology they could have colonized Mars instead but they wanted Earth...they really are not evolving rapidly
The way the San-Ti's Three Suns loom into the final shot, mixed with the swell of the music is so ominous. It's amazing.
And the little black dot is their planet so we can understand why they are so pissed. (Of course, the distances from the suns are not in scale for artistic reasons.)
@@bztube888yeah if they were in scale the planet would be vaporized and the stars would crash each other
I absolutely hated how they shortened the intro for the rest of the episodes. This is one of those intros you never skip.
Yeah and I think that was Netflix because the creators hinted they didn't want it to be like that
It’s really a pity that Netflix cut such a great epic opening into a short version. I strongly recommend that you put this opening at the front of every original episode. I will want to watch it again because of this music so great !!!
I get the sentiment, but imo in this series at least, the short version feels fitting. It feels really mysterious when you first see it on the beginning, and later you see it and go ''ohhhh i see now''. Plus i like the short version more
@@5XXFelipe ding dong your opinion is wrong
@@Germgeuse Whatever makes you feel better pal
@@5XXFelipe just a jest
“Ok Ramin, let’s go full Westworld for this one”
“Say less”
I imagine this is the perspective of the Sophon.
That or how the 11th Dimensional weird eye lovecraftian beings that The Trisolarans see's the universe.
@@jackiedim7028Those weren't 11 dimensional man, they came to exist when Trisolarans unfolded the proton in 3 Dimensions instead of 2 (their 2nd failed attempt).
Please renew this Netflix!
Why did they cut the whole scene? Bring back the full opening in every episode.
I love how the melody intensifies as the intro transitions into the tragic existence of the San Ti's 3 Body System.
I really love this intro.
1:04 I like this bit right here. The music's crescendo definitely illustrates the idea of three stars stacking on top of a tiny planet. It paints a sad reality about the San-Ti's chaotic existence. They're forced to bear the combined weight of three colossal bodies that threaten to crush them into dust. It's like the Greek myth of Atlas, the Titan who was forced to carry the Earth on his back as punishment for his sins. Except the San-Ti didn't do anything to deserve such a cruel fate. They're being punished by the universe itself only because of their unfortunate existence.
Please renew the 3 Body Problem for several more seasons.
Nah they will cancel like all the good show and renew useless one
@@kitogg7292bruh I swear this keeps happening.
All the good shows keep gettijg cancelled.
@@kitogg7292 season 2 confirmed
It won't get more then 2 seasons, prolly just 3 because there's only 3 books
I almost feel sorry for the San Ti. Our earthquakes, typhoons and calamities are not even catastrophes when compared to what they experience in their 3 sun homeworld.
Waiting for seasons 2 and 3 already....😅 PLZ don't cancel the series it has so much potential
The first time I saw this I thought "Please no, the earth will never be with other stars and so close to them! This is scientifically not enjoyable"
But as the show progressed I understood 🤩
❤
we're theoretically able to move the earth to different star systems and alter its orbit. We have the math and the physics that proves how to do it, we just don't have the technology
Just so you know, these space shots aren't just for show.
The microbiome shot isn’t for show either
I have a feeling it’s inspired by a certain silvery object and it’s lack of imperfections
It's interesting how many blatant spoilers this sequence shows. The books took ages to build up the mysteries of some of these elements, while Netflix is like "there suns, here ya go" before frame 1
@@Rocksteady72a The title already gives away the three suns part!
I would say that the best scifi (and shows in general) are still interesting even when the plot is known.
@@SirSpinach It technically does, but all 3 books do that. The genius part is that they didn't call attention to themselves, and if you ask any random person what a three body problem is, or what a dark forest is, they aren't going to know (try it, I've had that conversation dozens of times now to test this). It plays heavily into the "Ohhh" moment in each book when the meaning finally becomes forefront.
@@lileenleenNONONONO WAITWAITWAIT DONT DO THIS TO ME
The best netflix intro.
Dark would like a word..
and they decided to cut the intro in their succeeding episodes. who even decided it.
I would give that to the first season of Daredevil.
Dark
see Dark
Patiently waiting for this series to get to the Droplet bc I just know that’ll become an iconic sci-fi sequence
“If we destroy you… what business is it of yours?”
Looking forward to it, but also really curious and nervous about how theyd execute the dimension switching (2D and especially 4D).
hopefully their cgi will step up in quality, the episode with the human computer had some abysmal work
@@kerbcarus2010of was ok purpose the VR stuff the creators said they didn't want it to look 100% real that was an artistic choice.
The Opening Soundtrack should eb called "A Funeral Procession for Humanity"
The feeling the beginning of the music, the first 15 seconds, gives is so “Futuristicly nostalgic”, 00:00 truly a masterpiece that hints longing of the future, the vast possibilities of the universe and the quiet lingering past
Wow how philosophical 😮
This opening must be every episode in season 2
When you have the legend that is Ramin Djawadi doing the music, I god damn well want to hear it every episode. It's a crime that they cut it for each episode after the first.
Why on earth would they remove the full intro after the first episode? It’s criminal. The music with the visuals is so cool. Smh Netflix.
One of the few opening credits I'd never skip
Unfortunately, Netflix did it for you...
Two seconds in and I knew the composer!

Hopefully they keep this theme for the next season, so good 🔥🔥🔥
wait theres another season?
@@1NonlySeriouZ this show is based off a book series and they have perfectly set it up for the next book so I would think there has to be another season
Ramin Djawadi is an awesome composer. His scores never fails to match the tone and atmosphere of the movies.
Having three sun and one planet, that seems wild af!
These days opening credits are so detailed and CGI-ed beautiful nobody skips it😂
Well, unfortunately, Netflix decided otherwise
@@lynebek 1. They made beautiful intro
2. It was too long and listening to what avatar is in every episode is tireing.
3. I think every season will have different intros(I hope so)
4. I know... I Know...
The next seasons are gonna be 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Was renewed for 2 more seasons!
I've been jamming out to this all week! 👽
YOU CUT IT IN THE BEST PART!!!
the more your hear, the better it gets
Keep this whole thing as an intro for the next seasons….we’ll appreciate in our history books 200 yrs from now 😉
AND DND: please don’t fuck this up. The beauty, terror, and magnitude of the next 2 seasons has immense potential. Making it an extra season long should be an option. Pleading from UA-cam - no Starbucks cups plz
This is so much better than the shortened intro
Great show, hope there will be a season 2
Def inspired by Westworld into imo
I was gonna say the sane
Definitely
Yea! 🎉
Same composer
It's the same guy so makes sense
This reminded me so much of Westworld opening sequence. I miss that show
I feel the exact same.
well its the same composer so that makes sense - definite similar vibes
I didn't like it much at first listen, but gradually as I watched episode after episode I fell in love with it.
And I have it like that almost everytime with Ramin's music. For example Warcraft. I didn't like it at first. But I enjoy the whole soundtrack now. Can't explain the reason. And GoT ... I actually hate the intro music, but other pieces are great and some of them I loved at first listen.
I was initially wondering why I loved the theme song so much and why it reminded me of Westworld until I saw Rawin Djawadi and then everything made sense 😂
😂😂😂😂
Literally pause every episode when the short intro plays and watch this video
It's just so fucking perfect, like this intro sequence and the music are both so fucking hard
This series was fantastic! Can't wait for season 2
Absolutely love the intro, now I see why
Got so hype when it started zooming out like the Waterdrop fan film!!!
Huge WestWorld vibe here, and I love it!
Great opening, really sucks that you cut it from all but the first episode Netflix.
It's like a Requiem for mankind who has lost the possibility.
Whoever you are who made this. I love you 😤
it's RAMIN DJAWADI
@@nuntius1bro always cooks with his music
Ramin the GOAT of TV show's composer
This should’ve played EVERY EPISODE 🧍🏽♂️
Ramin always killing it
please put it on every episodes on the next season.
Reminds me of west world. Same song writer? It’s insanely good
Yup it Ramin Djawadi, he was the composer of WestWorld and Game of Thrones
This needs to be longer!!
I love the frantic shuddering of the planet, almost as if the fury of its people at their situation were being represented
Gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to the full version!
I hope this gets renewed even if it has only been on top for one week.
It looks like we have a problem of 3 bodies on our hands, my gentlemen
I feel so sorry for Trisolaris every time I watch this opening and this giant suns
Lol
And they view you as bugs lol
@@thechrisman1345 so I sad, every time I watch opening, not every time in general.
Is that just me? Isn't this video literally made to make people afraid of this teeny tiny baby planet was not sucked or crushed inside the huge sun?

더 좋은 국가에 태어나지 못해 불행한 것보다 지구에 태어나 다행이라고 느끼게 해주는 인트로
Great powers of 10 intro. Well done.
The beginning of these credits remind me of the fan film of the droplet shaped probe where the camera zooms out. It's probably inspired for sure.

I wonder what contributions rosamund pike made to get the EP credit, love her in like everything
you guys did Ramin dirty by not doing a full opening credits for every episode!
Beautiful!
WE need a 4K version of this!
love this. why couldn't it be at the start of each episode?
So glad I didn’t see this before hand went in blind and loved it
Music reminds me of my Daemon. Also a really good show on Netflix.
I wonder if the atomic zoom out scene was based on the Waterdrop short film, which was based on a different scene in the 3 body problem and endorsed by the author himself?
so many executive producers included brad pitt and rosamund pike
A cameo by either of them would have been a treat.
They must be fans of the book, and helped adapt it 🤔
And Rian Johnson
Money to keep it going. Need to get to at least season 3.
Next time don't release all the episodes at once, completely ruins the ability to build an audience
Why would you make such a good intro just to play it in only 1 episode!?
its expensive
For some reason this sounds so tragic for the aliens, all they want is a home they can live on. But humanity can just allow themselves to be destroyed. It’s a tragic tale of two intelligent beings competing for the mere right to exist.
To use a well known phrase, this world literally isn’t big enough for the both of us.
This song neeeeeeeeds a Grammy🥺🥺🥺
This series is good i hope we get another season
S2 and S3 should be released end of the year or next year. It's mind blowing ❤
I love this song so much! The first 10 seconds are my favourite. Dum da..da da...Dum da..da da...Dum da..da da...Dum dum dum da da dum dum da da dum DUUMMM DA DDUMUM DA DA DDUMM!
It's a shame if Netflix doesn’t renew it for next seasons.
By the way, the system is based on the real life 3 star system called Alpha Centauri comprised of two (more or less)Sun sized stars and a red dwarf(a very dim and tiny kind of star), that's why there's two giant stars and a tiny one. The Alpha Centauri system is actually quite "stable" because the red dwarf proxima Centauri is extremely far from the two larger stars that orbit each other. The larger two stars orbit each other while Proxima Centauri orbits the two. Proxima Centauri also has two confirmed planets with a third being a potential candidate. This is the closest star system to us and it's very visible to the naked eye.
Decisions to cut the openning since episode 2 is a crime.
Shame this only appears for one episode
Amazing. I've become a fan.
Im obsessed with
this song gives me claustrophobia for some-reason, nice.
Fantastic intro, I loved watching it before every episode. Oh wait...
Great intro! Make season two. Please.
Kinda has Westworld/TheExpanse vibes.
I have to listen to this at least once a week just to feel smth
the music is so devastating. like a slow march to death
Best in class......
I live for watching show intros....
It’s similar to the opening of “westworld”, especially they have the same composer
