Thank you for the video. This movie holds a special place in my heart. I was going through a dark time and when this movie came around it acted as an anchor and push to help get me snap out of it and pull from the muck of the dark times (ie; depression). After watching this i can see more of a deeper meaning to the story of the film; in the three aspects as you meantioned.

Uhhhh u r so good at this narration. I just feel bad for Kumatetsu. I understand what he did was better for Kyuta and also in that way they both get to stay together but......but....
If wolf children is the perfect anime to watch with your mom, the boy and the beast is perfect movie to watch with your dad. (They’re made by the same person I think)

I just finished watching boy and the beast, and I the end made me think of a question. what happens to kumatetsu when kyuta dies? Does kumatetsu just get reincarnated into something else? Something he didn't choose? Or is kumatetsu dead forever? Because kumatetsu has already been incarnated once? Because lords choose to be gods, and gods live forever, but in this instance kumatetsu choose to be kyuta's soul. So I wanna know what others think... Is kumatetsu dead for good after kyuta's death? Or is he reincarnated into something else? Maybe kyuta's future children's soul's?
I assume he passes away with Kyuta. I can't give you a reason why because I would need to re-watch the movie. But I think a God can reincarnate once and because Kumatetsu decided to reincarnate as the sword that combines with Kyuta's soul that means if the soul has passed so does Kumatetsu. Your memory of the movie is more fresh than mine so you can let me know if that makes sense. :)
Honestly I really felt bad for Kumatetsu's decision to be the soul sword.....I mean he could have been something else and still be useful to and be around Kyuta😢
