Mostly he was just a normal guy with typical impulses brought on by situations, like mooning the helicopter, they kept asking about an injury to his buttocks and he got sick of it, maybe it wasn't the best response but it was ultimately just a guy fed up with answering the same question over and over.

He was the original Favre when it came to indecisive about retiring the following year. He quit to keep his bad in June 1969 and only in October 1969 he was already talking retirement. He would sit out of camp and it got to the point where his teammate would fake retire too

I thought Namath deserved to be in the top 5. I wouldn't make him 1 because, like they point out, he wasn't a whiner, crybaby, "it's all about me" kind of a diva. He got special attention and he enjoyed the ride, but he's not number 1.

Joe Namath was a diva despite on the field being arguably the most undeserving member of the Hall of Fame. He's only in because of the guarantee. and he didn't even really deserve the MVP for that game as it should have gone to Matt Snell or Dave Herman. dude was actually not very good even in context of quarterbacks in those days.
Jim McMahon was just a goofy weirdo and actually a pretty bad quarterback when you look at things and probably the most inconsequential member of the 85 bears. Don't know if I would call him a diva so much as just a weirdo

Brady is underrated here but I can understand the hesitation. He is very much a diva on the field. Demanding protection from the refs, throwing his tablet like a baby throwing their toys out of the pram, these are diva behaviors. However, in the contract room, he is very much not a diva. He has taken lower contracts to ensure his team can be better. That’s not diva behavior.
Farve I see as very overrated on this list. He was too jovial and messy on the field to be a diva. However, if you listen to his backups and look how he unretired that feels very diva.
I think Brady should go up to maybe 5

Its gotta be T.O. for me. Favre wasn't a diva, his 10 billion retirements were annoying for sure, but he wasn't all about himself for the majority of his career. T.O. was all about T.O. for 10-12 years of his career. If there was a trophy handed out to the Most Diva Player of the Year each season, it'd be named after T.O.
