You're the best basketball trainer I've seen. These are al things that we knew were the truth for years but were being taught not to do. I really wish you were around in the early 2000's.

Hey I shoot with a chicken wing but i shoot really good with it, but i know people frown on the chicken wing, so i was wondering if fixing my chicken wing to straight arm will it really help my shot because ive been trying to find proof somewhere about why the chicken wing is bad and havent found any yet, so if you or anyone could answer my question about why the chicken wing is frowned upon that would be great Thx and keep hooping!

    • @m0z1e2

You can use thumb flicking only if it doesn’t off put your ball/ ball path when you go to shoot. If your in line with the rim and you use thumb flick sometimes for some shooters it negatively impacts their ball path.If your thumb flick doesn’t upset your shot and you can shoot consistently or most of your shot fine then their is no reason to remove it out of your form. Remember that you have more strength in your legs, core and arms than your thumb. Overall if it is bad for your shot remove it, if not then your fine.
