When I purchased my heated jacket and gloves from Harley-Davidson about 1 year later I encountered difficulties with my gloves not working correctly. They gave me a gift card and said that I can choose any items from their clothing line as a direct replacement. Here's the catch, those gloves did NOT offer a lifetime warranty. Why would they do that? If I paid (Dearly) for the lifetime warranty shouldn't that lifetime warranty be carried over since I purchased these items FROM THEM? Instead they gave me a gift card and said that I can choose any items from their clothing line is a direct replacement however the new gloves did NOT offer a lifetime warranty. Why would they do that? If I paid for the lifetime warranty shouldn't that lifetime warranty be carried over into ANY another product line even if it did not have a lifetime warranty? I WOULD THINK SO! THEY TOTALLY SUCK! BOTTOM LINE, STAY AWAY FROM THE HARLEY DAVIDSON HEATED GARMENTS!! BUY GORDON, THEY HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY!
Kenneth Wise Sorry you had a negative experience with the gear. H-D has been switching their heated gear quite a bit I think based on my observations of how their designs and heat controllers have been changing. Luckily I haven’t had any problems with the gear so far, but, being from South Texas , I also don’t use it that often. I hope it does work out for you in the end, even if it isn’t with H-D branded products.
@@TexMexStrada thanks, I've switched my gloves to Gordon's (lifetime warranty) and if my HD jacket acts up again I'm going to send it off to Gerbing (who manufactures them for HD) for repairs. Like I said, screw HD, they're NOT in the business of repairing stuff and will ONLY give you an off the shelf item with a one year warranty. Screw that nonsense...
