Thanks for your review I have the M star absolutely comfortable the leather is on another level break in period is quick I completely recommend spending the money easy to walk in and easy on the bike and not sacrificing safety ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all day
Loving these. Comfort and protection is paramount. Originally thought I was going with the Alpinestars Toucan. But now these Daytona’s are stunning. I think 5k mikes is plenty to know what’s good and not so good. Thank you for the great review. Ride safe and ride often.
Its funny that you mention the toicans ive just returned them for thr daytona boot they are worlds apart in comfort so happy the shop swapped them out for me
Another great review! I also have been looking at these boots for a quite a few years, along with the model with the heel lift. I am now using the TCX Clima surround sound boots, which are nice as well ,but the Daytona boots ,like you said are the Rolls Royse of mc boots!
Thank you for your kind words! I actually considered the TCX boot myself, but wanted something fully all-weather capable. The Daytonas continue to deliver mile after mile. I've ridden in them in below freezing temperatures the last couple of months, perfect comfort. So, from personal experience, I can now confidently say they are good from -5C to +40C.
Such well made boots and repairable too. I'm in my mid 50's and guess that if I bought a pair and looked after them, as a leisure motorcyclist, they would probably outlive me 😂
Quite possible! They clean up really really well when you use the Daytona care products. Hope they will last me for a decade or two. Money well spent so far. Thank you for watching!
i've just ordered the wide fit to try as i have difficulty finding any comfy footwear due to chunky feet lol, so thanks for the review, and i hope my experience is as good as yours. one question, do they stretch and mould a tad in any (slightly) tight spots when broken in?
I'm really struggling to figure out my sizing for these, I can't try them on first unfortunately, I usually wear a size 42, my foot is 27cm long, I don't like having extra length at the end of a boot so I'm thinking I probably need a size 41, would you agree? cheers!
Keep in mind that your foot width will matter, too. But in general, I think you may be correct, going down one size is likely the right way to go, especially if you like your boots snug. I hope this helps!
I wanted to buy the Alpinestars smx plus V2 GoreTex today, but now I see this Rolls-Royce boot.. I can get both of them for 250 euros (black friday sales). The Alpinestars looks more advanced and protective but "looks" don't tell the whole picture. Which one would you recommend?
I have no experience with the A* boot, so it is hard for me to compare, but for 250 Euros the Daytona is a great deal. I absolutely love the boot, incredibly comfortable for armored footware. It may be down to your foot shape, make sure you take that into consideration. I have wide feet, and the Wide version of the DRS GTX fit me like custom made. I believe the A* boots are a little more on the narrow side. I hope this helps!

@@TexMexStrada your welcome. I may get a pair next time, I bought some alpine stars just before lockdown so they haven't seen much use so far.

@@TexMexStrada Got about 1000 miles on them so far. Great boots! Shoulda bought them a few years ago.
Yup, same thing I thought when I finally got them. Glad they worked out for you!
How are they for walking?
You can contact Daytona to have your boots re-soled.
Good to know, thank you! I'm not there yet, but I appreciate the advice! And thank you for watching!
