- We started the game 3 points off the playoffs with a +10 goal difference, we’ve ended the game 4 points off the playoffs with +6 goal difference.
Credit where it’s due, Stoke absolutely ripped through us today and it could have been 6-0, 7-0 or even more! We could have played 24 hours and we wouldn’t have scored.
Stoke wanted it more, pressed more and walked through our defence at will. I don’t think any one of our players deserved any credit today, and neither did the manager. He had the opportunity to change things at half time and with the exception of around 10 mins at the start of the second half, we actually got worse!
That said, the majority of the other teams around us either lost or drew so we are still in with a slim chance of promotion but performances across all positions needs to improve massively.

Lads I’m a Stoke fan and really enjoyed watching this. As traveling fans it is a credit to see a ground as full as that. Cracking atmosphere. I’ve been to some crap grounds. We were the better team on the day.

We (stoke) are making good teams look very ordinary at the moment, look at Sunderland results since we hit them for 5. Our midfield 3 seem to dominate games, we seem to be play better against teams that want to win. We'll find out hard v Bristol on Friday as they'll sit back.
We’ve only really seen Burnley walk through us as easily as your boys did today. As I said at the start of the video I expected it to be a tough game, you should be a lot higher up the table than you are. Best of luck for the rest of the season 👍🏻

Un-FOUR-givable display from the Sky Blues today; dire. Stoke were excellent all over the park; great away support, too. What was annoying was the lack of energy, lack of footballing basics and and pattern on a day the team need the points. But most of all it was Legends Day…..day to FOUR-get, more like.
Definitely a good day for the 2,000 or so travelling Stoke fans. Thought they were a little quiet even at 2-0 up but once the third and fourth went in they were in good voice and fair play to them. We just need to concentrate on finishing as high as we can now with the small chance of being involved in the playoffs at the end of the season. Stoke can enjoy the rest of their season knowing they won’t go down and have a good chance of a top half finish
The main thing is you had a day out with your boy. I went to the old Highfield Road a few times in the 70s with my dad, as Stoke fans, both teams in the first division. Some really good football. Bad time to play Stoke, we are finally getting it together, good luck for the rest of the season.
Thanks Guy, there was a time when I thought my lad wouldn’t share my passion for football so I love every game we go to now. Shame for Stoke that there aren’t more games in the season left or you might be part of the playoffs at the end of the season, you may still be but like us you’ll be relying on other results. We’ve been class recently. Shame it’s 5-10 games too late, hope you sneak playoffs though Cov fans have been the most level headed I’ve come across in the league
As I’ve said to all Stokies who have kindly commented, I don’t think we’ll make the playoffs sadly but it’s been a good season after a very bad start. Had there been 10-12 games left, Stoke would have had a great chance of putting a late run together 👍🏻

We’ve had some fantastic results during the season but also had some terrible ones too. We’ll see I guess Dale but personally I think we’ll fall short

One of those days. Stoke turned around last few months.
I expected a tough game, but I expected us to play much better than we did. Definitely a fair result at the end of the day, we were lucky it wasn’t more than 4!
@Sky Blue Jay we are probably the most in form team considering the teams we've played. Don't be too disappointed mate. We hammered blackburn, Sunderland and Middlesbrough, so ig wasn't such a surprise.
My worry is, our players are mostly on loan so, next season we'll collapse.

It could have been ttteeeeennnnnnn you lucky bas...... To be fair we have been very good, just a pity this run has come 4 games too late. Please though get in the play offs and make sure Millwall and Luton are still in the Championship next season.

@@skybluejay9473 don't loose hope mate, it's that what keeps us going for what it's worth at some point I wanted your manager over ours. He tries to play the right way, and your game at our place we were out played. He is also an honest person and in the long run won't do you wrong.
@@jamesbond4981 we are relying on other teams mate. On paper we have the “easiest” run-in I think, but as we know it’s not played on paper. Don’t get me wrong Robins has been good for the club over the years but he does make some poor decisions too at times
@@skybluejay9473 all managers do, sometimes you have to hold your hand up and say I got it wrong, fair play to MR he did just that. We battered Sunderland a few weeks ago and Mobrey basically said we don't play the right way and it was a disaster for true football that we beat them..... when we went up we never really believed it untill the very last few games. Fullily enough when Liam Lawrence scored in the 2 1 at your place was when we started to believe. And if forest can get promotion last season then you have every chance

Thanks Martin, I didn’t realise we had a good record against Stoke at home until I heard it on the local radio station driving home after the game. I think we could still be playing now and wouldn’t have scored but we’d be 17-0 down 🤣 good luck to Stoke for the remaining games 👍🏻
