I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one. The spring does not know which way is up or down. The shock absorber works the same either way. The road can't move under the bike. the bike has to move over the road. The biggest advantage to the upside down fork design is that it is more rigid. Which leads to better handling, braking etc. Thanks for your comment.
