Hello! this is my rq in the EE, please could you tell me if this is good and if there is anything i should change. "To what extent does the impact of emotional intelligence on self esteem differ in adopted and non-adopted adolescents?"
@@ibpsychsurvival-mistykarma6902 watching your previous video on getting started you mentioned how you should mention your research (methodology im assuming you meant the studies you are going to use) if my assumption is right how do you go about addressing these in the introduction
Hi! could you please give me suggestions for my research question “To what extent does growing up in an abusive environment contribute to narcissism among individuals between the age of 16 and 25?”
Hello, Im having a hard time find sources to support that that PTSD is a contribution to war veterans becoming homeless... can you help? anything is helpful. My EE question is To what extent does mental illness contribute to the likelihood of war veterans becoming homeless?
Hi Ms Karmakar, Thank you so much for your helpful video! I was wondering if you could help me out a bit - my outline is due in 3 days. Right now I’ve narrowed it down to childhood obesity. I want to discuss immigrant children as well, thus showing the importance of sociocultural environment since theirs has drastically changed, as well as behavioural theories e.g SCLT. Would this be too much to talk about? Am I allowed to include immigrant adolescent studies or is out too outside of my scope - thus would I have to specify my research question to the role of acculturation or development of obesity in immigrant children etc? For critical thinking, I’m thinking of talking about the biological determinants (which are pretty similar to adult obesity because genes are genes). The problem right now is that most of the critical thinking isn’t focused on childhood obesity but just normal obesity, albeit using child samples. The findings can be generalised to adults - is that a weakness since my studies' findings are generalisable to a group beyond my intended sample? ThusI need a topic that will allow for more of a discussion. I was thinking about the sociocultural role of families on the development of obesity in children. The critical thinking could be the biological role (hereditary genetics) and/or the sociocultural role of peers (SIT and conformity to engage in weight loss or unhealthy behaviour). Is the bio Critical thinking a bit superficial because obviously parents pass on genes? would the socio critical thinking be off-topic because the body is about family functionality, communication styles, parenting styles, SCLT of parental models etc? I initially wanted to investigate the sociocultural determinants of childhood obesity, then provide biological determinants as critical thinking before concluding with epigenetics (genes are passed down but gene expression is dependent upon enviro thus there’s an interplay of socio and bio). Therefore researchers use twin studies to investigate this interaction. Do you have any advice?
Hi! Thanks so much for making this video! I'm just wondering how it is best to structure my intro. I had a look at your sample. Is it best to state the "research plan" at the beginning or end of the intro? thanks so much :)
Hey, I’m glad you found this useful. The research plan would be best stated at the end of introduction after you’ve stated the research question. This would include a thesis statement and an outline of the researches you intend on using to develop your argument.
thank you so much your videos have been extremely helpful for me, do you have PayPal, zelle, or anything please let me get your coffee or something YOU SAVED MY life
this is so helpful, there are barely any information regarding psych EEs. Please make more videos

what is the best way to include your research in the intro ?
Could you elaborate on what research you’re referring to?

I go over that in this video, 6:25
There’s also an example of the research plan/methodology :)

dont think it is broad enough, bit hard for research innit

I’m not too sure I understand your question. 5 topics?
