Thanks! This really feels like being there. Love the street art and murals. It's one thing we just don't see as much of in the U.S. as in other places. Paris had great street art and I miss being around it. Happy trails! Hope Spain is treating you well. I'm looking forward to videos of what there is going on there!
Curious about the prices of things in Iceland? See this video in which I visit the new Sky Lagoon hot springs, just outside of Reykjavik: ua-cam.com/video/SuAkDDI8xc0/v-deo.html
Hello, Reykjavik Iceland I have been there, I was working on a ship that docked in that port. The man like to fight. The ladies are beautiful . There is a night club that has 3 levels , music playing on each floor ( live bands ). The clothes and food are expensive.
I've stayed in that hostile!! its lovely, i loved the amazing breakfast (including the giant bowl of skyr yogurt) they put out each morning, great video reminded me of my trip there
Seems kind of odd that a very cold country would be way into ice cream. But, I also prefer eating ice cream during the winter months and not during the summer. Maybe it has to do with the body wanting to take in the fat and calories so you have plenty to help keep you warm.
This is ONE OF MOST WONDERFUL CITIES IN THE WORLD.... But don't forget, ALSO FOCUS ON THE BEAUTY OF THE CITY WHERE YOU LIVE IN, because this is your home, your own heaven on Earth.....
Considering food and gasoline and most other things have to be shipped in, prices don't seem that bad. You showed a sign with a milkshake for 950 IKR - that's like $8 USD which is about right for a proper milkshake from a store like that.
Not a desired destination for me but still great to see your videos of the area. Your facial expression in the thumbnail of Iceland travel-tour of a supermarket & food prices is sooo funny!!! That expression is how I would feel about the prices too and cold weather.
Hi Chris, my videos are always posted within a few days after they were posted, so you can always just check the upload date. This was filmed in November 2016.
I had connection flight in Reykjavik on my way from Israel to Toronto I was surprised Iceland looking like desert...cold desert!Israel is flourishing garden in comparison to Iceland...and prices are much higher in Iceland and Istael much more technology developed.I would definitely prefer visit Israel over Iceland!
The water isn't frozen yet but sure looks cold. Glad to see your gloves on your hands:) Are your hands warmer?. Keep warm it's important, well, it makes us feel warmer too. Your friends Yishai&Wilda:)
Sadly, I lost one of those gloves that day. When I got back to the hostel one was missing. Not sure what could have happened to it. So I tossed the other one. I could have used them here in Spain, it's pretty chilly actually.
Well, we are in the eighth month of the year and at our latitudes we are in the changing from the day part of the year to the night. Spain, Castellan speaking. That's the higher Spanish language and is cool to hear in their environment and that cool accent.
Do me a favor my Icelandic UA-cam viewers the next time you'll walk by the Icelandic Santa mailbox can you find out the manufacturer of the Santa's mailbox I think it's one of a kind and I will be much appreciated. Thanks 😇
Hello Gabriel, I have ordered GoPro Hero 5 from Amazon along with 64GB microsd card. I'm traveling to Nepal during Christmas holidays. Do you think 64GB is enough for 1 week trekking, say if I use my camera for 2-4 hours/ day? If 64gb is not enough, I would buy one more memory card. I have no idea about GoPro cameras or their video size.
I'm not sure about the GoPro 5 but they do use up quite a lot of space so I would suggest getting another 64gb just to be safe. You don't want to run out of room to record while in such an epic place. Which trek are you doing?
I'm sorry you had to disable comments on your other videos, but let it be known that videos like this help folks like myself to make travel decisions later on.
Thanks for the video. It was real dark after showing the city of map. Then I realized it was November, and Reykjavik is the northernmost capital. What time was it? I know Iceland is very safe. I still want to make sure its safe to walk in the dark. Since it has long dark day, does impact travel. I want to go in October. I want to see Northern light. I hope I can do both. I know NL depends on nature. want to make sure sightseeing is not impact by long dark days
The sun rises at around 10 in the morning and sets at 4 in the afternoon. And in another month there will be even less light. But on the upside, it never gets dark in the middle of the summer.
Men not going home and wives widowed and kids orphaned. Sometimes you must protect your families in war but man's tale has been greed and fighting wars for the theft of others. This world, Creator is closing out, within the allotted time.
This was filmed in November. It was pretty cold, got down to around freezing I think. I was there last January and it was actually warmer. So you never know, it varies.
Martin Grahan It's not. First of all, you only saw part of the city. Secondly, you don't go to Iceland for the urban areas, you go for the nature. Strokkur Geyser, Gullfoss Waterfall, the Blue Lagoon, etc. are all VERY fun locations in Iceland. Take it from someone who has gone, it's a trip you won't regret taking.
Gabriel Traveler Morocco is very cheap. I would recommend staying in a riad. There can be very beautiful and extremely affordable. Marrakech is a bucket list experience not to be missed. I was there a few weeks ago and can't wait to go back again. Lots of interesting friendly people and full of Muslim culture. You can do a day trip to Essaouira pretty cheap from Marrakech but in hind-site I would recommend staying a few days. It's gorgeous. I know why Jimi Hendrix loved it so much! Africa is amazing. Safe travels
Very nice. BUT: 3 million tourists visit each year, assume that every destination / attraction will be inundated with tourists (unless you go walking in the extremities). Most of the attractions I found, quite frankly, pretty underwhelming. And expensive?!?! Like nowhere else on Earth, makes NYC look like a budget destination. Its a once-in-a-lifetime destination, i.e. never again.
I guess I'll get a silver play button, so that's pretty cool. And I can apply to get the official check mark thingy. As for how much you make, it isn't so much about subscribers as it is how many views you're getting. For example if you check socialblade.com you'll see I'm getting about four times as many views per month as Hey Nadine, even though she has more than three times as many subscribers as me. Then if you figure people make about $1.50 per 1,000 views you can get a rough idea of how much someone is making per month.
Very beautiful city. So quite. Unlike London. I love Iceland
Whats wrong with blacks and browns?
Thenegroblackman so do whites

I would definitely visit Iceland again, yes stay away from London it's a vile place full of crime with no law and order.

Honestly I didn’t see anything extraordinary; most of that was generic cityscape.
Hater alert

Yep. Must say it's not what I imagined Reykjavik would be like. Looks more cramped and run down than I envisaged. I imagined it'd be more like Tromso.
I would find those perpetually dark grey skies to be very low mood inducing
Alasdair Gibb yeah its the best when theres sun

Hi Angelina, how are things?
What camera do you film with?
Leif Erickson? That reminds me of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Bubble Buddy".
What time of year was this filmed?
In November.
Looks like a place they would use in Harry Potter movies
Iceland is so beautiful. Please keep your culture in your country, you can see what can happen in Germany or Sweden.
In how many days one can explore capital city of Island
In one day.

I was in the navy during Nam and most people don't realize the loss of life for each large ship there are.
