That looks like Bugs Bunny behind your sound system 😊You’re doing better than me this season, looked like a Koi carp,we had them in our local lake but they mysteriously vanished. The filming was pretty good for a first, personally l still prefer my old D v d camera for filming the lenses is very good.
Wile E. Coyote! My wife bought it for me because I used to enjoy the Road Runner cartoons. He sits among a load of other 'stuff' in my study. The filming wasn't too bad but would probably have been better if I had kept the wide angle setting on my phone. But I don't think it will ever be as good as with the head cam, which followed my line of sight and thus always captured what was important. I should be able to improve things with a bit more practice - or buy a new head cam!
Hi Bob the set up you used seems somewhat challenging I reckon you should revert back to a headcam but only you can decide on that. As always an enjoyable watch and liked the Koi
Yes indeed. The idea seemed good but in practice it was unwieldy. After giving it quite a lot of thought I’ve actually bought a GoPro. It was only marginally more expensive than a like for like replacement of the little headcam and I was a bit reluctant to buy the same headcam again after the first one failed. My impression of GoPros had been shaped by distorted ‘fish-eye’ videos of more extreme sports but after some research I discovered that the latest models allow you to set a wide range of camera angles. I’ve been playing around with it attached to the neck hoop and being much smaller and considerably lighter than the iPhone + the magnetic attachment I think it will do the job. Also, the supporting iPhone app is superb (something that couldn’t be said for the headcam app) and allows me to preview the video view and thus set it up just how I want. It also supports voice control so I can start and stop videoing without fiddling with buttons. I may put up a separate video reviewing the GoPro rather than rattle on about it during a fishing video.
Hi Adrian. I’ve actually bought a GoPro - see more recent videos. It works well and has many good features. I think I still prefer the view provided by my now defunct headcam but I’m gradually getting used to the GoPro.

Hi Bob have you considered the "Go Pro Range"?
