The thing that first drew me into the game is definitely the fact that I'd fall asleep on the couch watching my dad play it when I was a kid. I fell in love with the characters and world of Ivalice. My love for the game has only grown as I've aged and can better understand the themes of the game story.

Hey this is pretty good I always like hearing about the lore about this game or I should say Ivalice in general it's full of stories more than some mainline FF games perhaps in the future you'll look into the tactics series as I've personally haven't played much of them
The music and subtle notes from the sound of potions being used is what really drew me to it honestly. Loved the world and characters and kist everything else fell into place.
Late to this, but barrowed the game from my cousin. Didn't have any internet at the time so i had all the time in the world to play. Beat the game over the summer and it instantly became my favorite Final Fantasy still to this day.

Hey hey! I first got into FFXII in 2006/7 after seeing someone play it. Got drawn in by the complex lore and politics and of course the voice acting! It's just a sublime game 😍 My question to you is: how did you get into FFXII, and what is your favourite aspect of the game? Great video!
Also: I was at a sleepover with my best friend in middle school, she was very spoiled and one day her uncle came home with a Ps2 game he thought she might like, FFXII. She took one look and said ew that looks so boring! She spent all night talking to her bf on the phone while I played FFXII until I got to the prison escape and fell asleep. The next day she told me just take the game cuz she didn’t want it. So I did! But I had no ps2. Not long after, she gave me hers and the memory card we played on, saying “I’ll just make my uncle buy me another one!” And he sure did, she had a new Ps2 next time I came over lol. Anyway I spent allll my time in 8th grade just waiting to come home and play FFXII for houuuurs before bed. Great memories. My mom knew I was into something FF so she got me the Advent Children dvd for Xmas that year. Good times!!!
I need this game was going to be good when I first got it when I realized it was final fantasy tactics related and honestly I thought it was beautiful story wise even the music and after watching your video I think I want to buy the remake lol
When the remastered come out they should have add more depth into this different monsterz should had been add since add in newer weapons. Would have been cool if easy monsterz that you face earlier in the game level up as well level up base off how our characters level up there's so many great ideas i have for this game i feel would have people minds blow away
Nabudis was a major point that was already given detail about its destruction. There really wasn't much to go by since Square really didn't give much during the game. It was unfortunately just a set piece for the game.

Ivalice in all its forms is the most magical world. Ff12 is the best fantasy RPG.
I hope someday we get a Final Fantasy 12 Prequel.
The fall of Nabudis would be an interesting prequel.
