Me when the jet that has 4x all-aspect missiles and upgraded engines instead of just 2x rear-aspect ones and 2x weak engines is only 0.3 BR higher

@@DatFatThor This case it's different, F-5C has two dinky little engines and only 10G rear-aspect 9Es, while F-5E FCU has two decently strong engines and 4x all-aspect missiles, so a BR increase of just 0.3 is not enough. F-14A has strong engines and great missiles, and F-14B has a bit stronger engines and a tiny bit better missiles, so a 0.3 BR increase makes sense. Basically what I'm saying here is that the BR difference between F-5C and F-5E FCU should be greater than just 0.3

Even in up tiers, it slaps been playing mine, and yesterday, I got 5 kills for 6 AIM-54s. Otherwise, it's normal 2 or 3 with 54s and 1 or 2 gun/9G kills even vs F-15A and those the 54s can slap them still
@@sniper321fire same, I’ve noticed it’s mainly the less experienced premium players that haven’t experienced the might (and surprise) of the aim-54 lol. And flying low doesn’t affect the radar tracking that much since that radar update a few weeks ago

You should mention that the aim9p4's literally do have the aim9L seeker to they'll also have some decent flare resistance

Take a look at the j35xs it moved up to 11.3 with 6 pops of cm and no rae lol. Same but opposite woth grippen and mig 29g both having 6 irccm missiles and being able to downtiwr against mig23ml and f4s spam
it was first 11.3 then it got moved down to 11.0 now its 11.3 again
its crazy to me that people would rather crash into the floor than die to another player. Gaijin should majorly up the repair costs for a crash to help with this. Specifically for ramming into the ground i am meaning. I see it so so often now.

Meh , they I'm bad at the game but with the f5e fcu getting aces is actually easy once you start understanding how it's played , your are a third party player , you kill only when the enemy won't see you .

i rarely get downtiers at 11.3, more like 75% to 80% uptiers to 12.0 or 12.3
Therefore it wouldnt make such a difference for me, since i would face alot of All Aspects and SARH Missiles. BUt it beeing the same BR as a JA35XS is total Bollocks.
And yeah there is something odd going on with IR Missiles currently going total off course for no reason every now and then or going after another missile not even close to the center of the seeker head.

Funny thing is MiG-23MLs are still 11.7 which is stupidly OP, and J-7E is same 11.0 with F-5E and also F-5C is 11.0 too while J35XS and Kfir Canard is in 11.3.

Recently got my first 10 and 10.3 jets and this jet is part of why I hate every second of it. The balancing is absent.

the f-4e could be fitted with an f-4j radar and furthermore all variants of the aim9. The reason why it doesn't launch the aim9x was being retired before it's introduction.

Recently realized 104 hasn’t moved an inch in BRs is pretty nice, can’t turn for crap but flying smart the thing is crazy unstoppable again

It is the same br as the JA37C which is fair bcs that plane got radar missiles and a cracked flight performance. I think the reason this didnt go up to much is because it doesn't get radar missiles and is fairly slow.

For me the plane is right at the right spot now !! Before the decompression I was facing F-14 with it every f**king game, now things are ok !

That may be true but it maintains Mach 1 in an 11g turn which no other aircraft really does.
You cant outrun anything in a straight line but you can pull them into a rate and leave at the same speed you entered, leaving them in the dust

its funny to me because the jh-7a, a plane with roughly the same missile set and the only real advantage being it can go over mach 1 on the deck is 12.3, a whole br above the fcu when the fcu is arguably better in a dogfight with much better guns.

Hey, can you pls tell me whitch setting allows you to see the exact type of aircraft? For example the A-10 shows up as A-10 (E) at 1:43, for me it would only show A-10 in my game? So you never know whitch version you are fighting. Thx for any hints.
You have to be closer, crew skills also change it
@@leonwesterlund3 you sure it is only that, I have mostly lvl 75 expert crews, some even ace. I never see the difference in the A-10's as example. It just says A-10.

They're rear aspect only though, and the gun is absolutely awful, limiting the potential of the flight model

@@kizvy It's only "okay" as far as ballistics go, the damage is very inconsistent, and you only get 60 rounds, meaning you need to have extremely precise aim to make more than two gun kills without reloading. The gun used to compensate for low ammo with its one-tap potential, but realshitter crippled it and it never fully recovered.
Compare that to F-5's guns that let you simply spray the target until it dies, and if you're precise, you can easily wipe out 5+ enemies with your guns, provided you get the opportunity.
The f5c, f5e, and the Chinese f5a are all at the same br. I'm not sure about the american f5a tho. Regardless the f5e fcu should definitely be at 11.7.

This is the best plane Japan has above 9.0. And if this is the one plane that is skewed a bit more op then let Japan have its fun with a squadron vehicle. If this stayed 11.0 then it would be a bit too good.
11.3 is fair for this plane imo. I can admit that it has much better weaponry than other F5 ease at a very similar battle rating, but your video proves that even with the extra missiles, the best weapon is still the guns.
There is a python 3 sweet spot from 2-1.5 km where flaring is less than 50%, but if you are outside of that then it’s still one flare to defeat all of your missiles.
I wonder if this plane opens the door for future F5E upgrades, we could also get the SCU with aam4s! That could be interesting. Imagine and F5 @ 12.7!

All settings are on max, running no anti aliasing. Getting usually around 150fps, give or take depending on the map.

With the current way multipathing works, the PD phantoms are at the right BR. Stuff like the C is a complete joke though same with the EJ Kai

The F-5C *SHOULD NOT* have gone to 11.0. 10.7? Ok fine, but not 11.0. Because Aim-9e at 11.0 is actual trash. And the problem with the 5c is that is weaker in engine power than all the other F-5’s (except maybe the A, which also should not have gone to 11.0) meaning the moment you strap the lightest of loads to that things belly it’s like strapping a bus to it and the performance Suffers greatly. I can understand moving up the 5E and such but the 5C and 5A did not deserve this.
